Readers of British women's magazine Glamour have voted
the actor the world's sexiest man for the fourth year in a
row.
Runner up in the poll is Avengers Assemble star Tom
Hiddleston, followed by Johnny Depp.
Prometheus actor Michael Fassbender is fourth and
Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch is in fifth place.
The top 10 is completed by Robert Downey Jr, Twilight

Widespread Outage: Itunes

A glitch with Apple's iTunes and App Store is understood to
have been resolved.
Some users were getting stuck in a loop repeatedly asking
they confirm their adherence to terms and conditions
before making their purchase, according to numerous
reports.
Xero founder Rod Drury tweeted to find out if he was alone
in suffering from the issue, but United States website
MacRumors reported it was "widespread", though possibly
not universal.
Dozens of Apple customers took to various online forums
to complain.
"Steve would never have allowed this," said one, referring
to the deceased Apple co-founder Steve Jobs who enjoys
hero-status among Apple fans.
MacRumors and other specialist technology news websites
have since reported that the bug now appears to be fixed.

Ripples Between Charly Boy And Nigerian Idol Organisers

Contrary to the promise made last Wednesday
November 19 by Optima Media Group (OMG), the
executive producers of the dubbed most watched music
reality TV show, Nigerian Idol, that there would not be
any change of cast for the third edition, the latest scoop
is that, Charly Boy, who was actively involved in the
previous seasons, is on his way out due to disagreement over professional fee.
Charly Boy also called Area Fada is alleged to have
suddenly turned an Oliver Twist demanding for the
whooping sum of 30 million Naira before he could enter
the race in search for the next Nigerian Idol.
It would be recall that CB as he's fondly called was not at

Bank PHB Ex Boss,Francis Atuche Paid N45m To Church As Tithes

Today, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission
(EFCC) has accused a former managing director of Bank
PHB, Mr Francis Atuche, of using depositors' funds to
pay N45 million in church tithes.
The money paid to two Catholic church branches in
Delta State was said to have been transferred from
Bank PHB Morgage Limited accounts.
The prosecuting counsel, presented documents in court,
some of them e-mails sent as an order to release the
sum of N35million to St. Monica Catholic church, Ibusa,
Delta State, and another sum of N10million to another
St. Augustine Catholic Church. Ogunsola told the court
that Atuche sent the money to the two churches in Delta
State because he hails from the state.
Ogunsola also admitted knowing two companies:
Claremount Nigeria Limited and Claremount Asset
Management. He said that Claremount Nigeria Limited
had a call account with his bank and the account was
owned by Atuche.
Justice Okunnu who presided over the case today
admitted all the documents as exhibits and adjourned
the case till October 4th, 2012.

Movie Report: Andrew Garfield and Director Marc Webb to Return for 'Amazing Spider-Man' Sequel

Ending months of speculation about
whether he would return to the
Spider-Man franchise he helped
reboot, director Marc Webb has
signed on to helm the webslinger's
next outing for Columbia Pictures.
The sequel to The Amazing Spider-
Man will begin shooting in early 2013,
with Andrew Garfield also returning as the superhero.
Emma Stone is in talks to continue her role as Peter
Parker's love interest Gwen Stacy.
There has been little doubt that Garfield and Stone would
be back for a second outing, but Webb's deal has been
the major question mark. Webb was paid roughly $1
million for the first chapter in the Spider-Man reboot,
according to sources, and was looking for a pay raise in
the wake of the film's $750 million-plus worldwide box-
office haul and fanboy response.
The screenplay is by Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci
and Jeff Pinkner based on a previous draft by James
Vanderbilt. The film will be produced by Avi Arad and
Matt Tolmach.
The sequel is set for release May 2, 2014.
"We could not be more confident in the direction we are
taking this new Spider-Man storyline, and we are
tremendously excited to be ramping up production again
with Marc at the helm and Andrew continuing on as Peter
Parker," Columbia president Doug Belgrad said. "We
can't wait to share what we have in store for Peter and
Spider-Man with audiences worldwide."

Elesho Unveils New Film

Yoruba comic actor and producer, Adewale Adeoye,
otherwise known as Elesho, will formally present his new
Yoruba home movie titled Ero Mi, on Saturday, 29
September.
The formal presentation is a platform to raise fund for
the procurement of ultra-modern editing equipment for
his new editing suite.
The Ikirun, Osun
State-born Elesho disclosed that the double event will
hold at LTV Complex, Lateef Jakande Road, Agidingbi,
Lagos and will be chaired by Kehinde Odeneye, a
member of House of Representatives representing Ijebu
NorthWest district, Ogun State.
Elesho, who is known in Yoruba film circle with his acidic
tongue said: "Though the film is not my first as a
producer, it promises to rank among my best."
However, top movie stars in the film are Adewale Elesho, Babatunde Omidina (Baba
Suwe), Bolaji Amusan (Baba Latin), Lola Idije, Tayo
Odueke (Sikiratu Sindodo), Mama Rainbow, Rammy-

Ibinabo Fiberesima, Ras Kimono Honored

Newly elected national president of the Actors Guild of
Nigeria (AGN), Ibinabo Fiberesima and Raggae music
star, Ras Kimono were yesterday, Sunday, 30
September, 2012 honoured at the 6th annual Nigeria
Media Nite Out Award held at KOGA Event Centre,
Alausa-Ikeja, Lagos.
Ibinabo, who was sworn-in as the first female president
of AGN on Saturday, was honoured with the Outstanding
Nollywood Personality of the year award, while Kimono
scooped the Music Personality of the year category.
Other entertainers honoured during the event themed
'Advantages and Disadvantages of Freedom of
Information Bill (FOI)' include Hakeem Rahman and
Oritse Femi, while P.M.NEWS' Bayo Adetu got the
Entertainment Writer of the Year award.
According to the award organizer, Sola Olugbenro of
Solkem Entertainment, in the last six years, Nigeria
Media Nite Out Award has been honouring deserving
media personalities who have excelled in their field.

Dickson returns, dispels rumours of ill health.

Gov. Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa on Sunday arrived at
the Government House after about three weeks
abroad, thus dispelling rumours of his poor health.
Dickson, who arrived in Yenagoa at about 6.30 p.m.
told curious newsmen: "Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson is
as fit as fiddle by the grace of God.
"This is no time for distraction and we know those who
are spreading this because they are seeing us doing
what they couldn't do for five years.
"I was never hospitalised in London. But you know, as
usual, when you do this type of hectic thing, every
year, every summer, most times when I travel out, I
do regular checks.
"I had a very fruitful trip abroad, which was primarily
to interact with people to drive the economy of
Bayelsa State."
Dickson expressed his determination to put the state
on the world economic map."That means the Bayelsa
Development Corporation must have an international
headquarters in London, which is the financial capital
of the world.
"In the next one or two months, the Bayelsa
Development Corporation will be fully launched in
London."
He said that the management board and committee
for the corporation would be announced in a few days
time.
"We will have an international luncheon and sell the
state to the international community and the world at
large.
"I am not one governor who likes to travel. For those
of you who have been here for some years, you must
be very familiar with frequent travelling of governors
of this state and I have been here as governor for six
months without any leisure trip."

Kreskin Predicts Regime Change At Facebook.

More bad news for Facebook CEO
and general wunderkind Mark
Zuckerberg: The Amazing Kreskin,
arguably the country's most famous
self-proclaimed mentalist, predicts
Facebook will have a new leader by
2018.
"It will reach a point that the
present head of Facebook will be
forced to have another figure
overseeing him as the key CEO of
the company," he said, according to
Beta Beat. "It's destined to change
its face."
Kreskin has previously predicted
Super Bowl winners and the
outcome of the 2008 presidential
election . But this is not the first time
Kreskin has foretold gloom in the
tech giant's future.
Two weeks after Facebook's public
offering, the 76-year-old mentalist
told New York Magazine that
Facebook's IPO had "a little bit of a
shadow on it that's going to be a
corrosive factor." (It's worth noting
that Kreskin also predicted the price
would level off in 10 days, but the
after debuting at $38 a share, the
stock has steadily declined, and is
currently going for under $22 per
share .)
Like his fictional peer Patrick Jane
from the CBS drama "The
Mentalist," Kreskin is a noted
showman and former Johnny
Carson regular who said he draws
his knowledge from his ability to
read the feelings, thoughts and
sentiments of individuals near him.
It's not a fool proof method,
however.
In 2002, Kreskin predicted that a
mass UFO sighting would occur
over Las Vegas on the night of June
6. He promised to donate $50,000
to charity if there was no sighting
that evening. Kreskin claimed to
have seen some "glowing green
orbs," although no one else
reported seeing a thing, according
to the IBTimes.
On the other hand, Kreskin may just
be reading the news.
Throughout the past few months, as
Facebook's stock continued its
precipitous decline, more than one
tech insider has called for the
young CEO's replacement.
Reuters ran a piece to that effect
back in July, and TIME followed up

What if -- for some reason -- you
wanted to buy the mummified

bird." The sale page featured a
photo depicting the petrified corpse
of a cat hanging on the rim of a
miniature basketball hoop, with an
alleged dead bird stuck in the net.
The asking price for this insane
item? A starting bid of $550, with a
Buy-It-Now price of $750.
Though the sale eventually
disappeared from eBay, plenty of
other strange (albeit much less
morbid) sales have made it onto the
site -- some of them even securing
high prices. Some items, such as a
"slightly used soul" or a "Ghost In A
Jar" incited unrealistic bids and
were taken down by eBay, but
other oddities have made it to
purchase.

AMAZING: Man Serves Prison Time For Convicted Friend

STOCKHOLM -- A man convicted of
smuggling in Sweden outwitted his
jailers by sneaking in a friend to
serve most of his yearlong
sentence, prison officials said
Friday.
The identity of the false convict was
discovered only when he'd been
released on probation after serving
about two-thirds of his friend's
sentence "sometime in 2008 or
2009," Elisabeth Lager of Sweden's
Prison and Probation Service said.

'Miss Bum Bum' Pageant Seeks Brazil's Best Butt *hehehe*

Crack addicts, get excited.
Brazil is gearing up for the "Miss
Bum Bum" pageant, a nationwide
contest to find the best butt in the
country.
The nation's cutest derriere will be
chosen out of 27 competitors, one
from each of Brazil's Federative
Units. Online voting will determine
15 finalists, who will travel to São
Paolo in November for the "grand
finale."
"[Brazilians] definitely have a thing
with butts," said Brazilian Graciela
Murano, writer and editor for
Oddee, noting that "bumbum" is the
word most commonly used in Brazil
to refer to someone's rear end.
In her country, the 30-year-old
says, most people know about the
competition, but like to pretend that
they're not interested.
In reality, though, "Every woman
has read about it and won't admit
it," she said, "and every man's
dream is to be a part of the judging
team."

It looks like those dreams won't
come true, at least this year. In
early September, Pamela Anderson
was contracted to judge the
competition , according to the Brazil
Dispatch.
Like any good pageant, Miss Bum
Bum Brazil is not without scandal.
Cibelle Riberio was one candidate
who almost slipped through the
cracks. Murano told The Huffington
Post that Riberio was a national
"favorite" for the competition, but
was almost disqualified when
judges suspected she may have
butt implants, and the curvy
contestant refused to take an X-ray.
However, it looks Riberio has since
submitted to the X-ray and, butt
approved, is now back in the
running, according to Globo.
Anyone can see that the pageant
contestants have perfect posteriors,
but what about Brazilians in
general? Do they have better butts
than the rest of the world?
"Yep, definitely," Murano said.

Young Jeezy-Rick Ross Backstage Scuffle: BET Releases Statement.

What do you think about all this bullisht?
We've all read about the backstage scuffle that went
down at BET's Hip Hop Awards over the weekend and
a lot of folks have spoken out against the beef since it
happened Saturday night.
BET finally released a statement and we're wondering
if they dismissed it a little too quickly.
Tonight during a taping of the BET Hip Hop Awards
2012 (not the BET Awards, which went down without
incident two months ago) an altercation between
two rap entourages broke out backstage. Atlanta
police and BET security quickly defused the
altercation.
According to the Associated Press, police spokesman
Carlos Campos said officers responded to the scuffle
at around 7:30 p.m. EST Campos says there were no
shots fired.
More drama unfolded as two men were involved in a
fistfight in the parking lot of the venue.
BET Networks issued a statement in response to the
many inaccurate reports and rumors circulating on
social media.
"BET Networks works very hard to bring the best in
entertainment to the city of Atlanta. For the past 7
years BET has celebrated the true art form of Hip
Hop. Due to some misjudgment of select attendees,
it is unfortunate that certain incidents took place.
BET Networks does not condone any type of
violence. Local authorities are working to resolve the
situation as quickly as possible. Despite the actions
of a few the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards embodied the
true spirit of hip hop and was not impacted at all by
any incidents."

For Growing Fattest Pumpkin Ever Man Wins $15,500

Apparently you can win over $15,000 for growing
pumpkins, and we should all be reevaluating our lives.
Rhode Island resident Ron Wallace broke the Guinness
World Record for heaviest pumpkin with a gourd
weighing an intimidating 2,009 pounds. Imagine how
many pumpkin spice lattes that could make, if pumpkin
spice lattes had anything to do with actual pumpkins.
This all went down at the New England Giant Pumpkin
Weigh-Off, held at the Topsfield Fair in Massachusetts.
Wallace got $5,500 for winning first place, and a huge
$10,000 bonus for a pumpkin weighing more than a ton.
The previous Guinness World Record-holder was for
Chris Stevens' 1810.5-pound pumpkin (embarrassing) —
although Steve Geddes of New Hampshire broke that on
Thursday with an 1843-pound pumpkin. That's right,
poor Steve spent one brief day as the Pumpkin King, and
he wasn't even acknowledged in an official capacity.
Steve, if you're reading this, I am toasting you with my

Lindsay Lohan Assaulted After She ConfrontsMan for Taking Her Picture

Amanda Bynes number one rival Lindsay Lohan is in the
news again, although this time it appears the incident
wasn't her fault. According to TMZ and the New York
Post, Lohan was partying in a Manhattan hotel room with
several friends and a few others when a man, who TMZ
identifies as Christian LaBella, took a cell phone picture
of her. Lindsay, being Lindsay, took umbrage and
confronted LaBella, who then allegedly assaulted her.
Says TMZ:

Our sources say Lindsay told police she confronted
the man about the pics and he threw her on the bed
causing scratches on her hands. We're told Lindsay
ran out of the room, but returned later. When she did,
Lohan claims the man attacked her, choked her,
threw her to the ground, and climbed on top of her.

The Post's report is somewhat different, saying that
Lohan grabbed the phone from LaBella's hands and ran
from the room. LaBella chased after her.
Sources said Lohan and LaBella began tussling and
eventually spilled out into a hotel hallway where
LaBella allegedly tried to choke the addled actress.
A fire alarm was pulled at some point, which I'm sure
went over well with other hotel guests.
LaBella was arrested on two midemeanor charges of
assault and two charges of harassment.
UPDATE: TMZ is reporting police won't press charges
against LaBella, which is good news considering that he
works for Representative John Shimkus, an Illinois
Republican. A Shimkus spokesperson released this
statement to the New York Daily News: "Obviously, the
Congressman does not condone his actions."
But it gets better: as Daily Intel points out, LaBella's
Facebook photo is a picture of him with none other than
Paul Ryan. Today's news cycle has officially come full
circle.
