Kim Kardashian Set To Marry Kanye West.

Kim Kardashian's next wedding will take place on "an
island with just [her] friends and family".
The reality TV star wed Kris Humphries in a ceremony
rumoured to have cost US$10 million last year. They split
72 days later, but the experience hasn't put Kardashian off
marrying again.
She believes her current boyfriend Kanye West is the
person she will settle down with, although any nuptials will
be a simpler affair.
"It had always been my dream to have a big wedding, and
when people said that I'd made it over the top for the
show, that was just me: I am over the top," Kardashian
told Tatler magazine.
"But the next time, I want to do it on an island with just my
friends and family and that's it."
The star spoke about why her relationship with West works
so well. They are both in the public eye, which means they
appreciate one another's career demands.
"It's so nice to have a best friend in this game who
understands everything you're going through. Being with
someone I've known for so many years is comforting,"
Kardashian gushed.
"He's been there through so many different stages of my
life and before I was famous, so this relationship is a
different thing entirely."
She previously dated American football star Reggie Bush
and has always been open about her relationships -
something she regrets now.
"When I look back at interviews I gave [about previous
boyfriends] saying, 'We're talking about marriage, etc.' It's
embarrassing. And I really believed it at the time!" she
laughed.

Man Cuts Off Son’s Hand

An unidentified man was yesterday said to have
chopped off the hand of his son in floods in
Anambra State.
He reportedly mistook the hand for a snake inside the
floods.
A former Chief Judge, Justice Paul Obidigwe,
narrated the incident in Awka, the state capital,
at the inauguration of a special squad of the
state branch of the Nigerian Red Cross Society.
Though he did not give details, the former CJ also
gave instances of other incidents that portrayed
the harrowing experiences of flood victims.
Obidigwe is also the Chairman of Omambala Forum.
During the inauguration, members of affected
communities narrated their ordeal.
The former CJ called for urgent assistance to the
victims at various camps, adding that there had
been stories of casualties from many
communities.
According to him, there was a man from one of
the villages that had been sacked by the floods,
who mistakenly killed his son in the night after
chopping off his hand in flood waters.
He said the father noticed a small figure emerging from
the waters and reached for his cutlass, thinking it was a
snake.
The man, Obidigwe said, chopped off the boy's
hand.
It was when the people found the boy's body
floating on water the following day they realised
that the man did not kill a snake but his son.
The former CJ said as the floods swept into the
villages, carrying animals and reptiles from the
wild.
He said in one instance the floods swept away a young
boy without the father's knowledge.
Obidigwe also narrated a story of a man that had
committed suicide having lost all his cash crops
that he took a loan to cultivate.
He said there was yet another of a man who
drowned while he attempted to ferry firewood
from his submerged home in Ayamelum.
Obidigwe said: "It was discovered that the internally
Displaced Persons (IDPS), who were earlier
accommodated in schools and churches have been
further displaced because flood has submerged the
earlier designated camps.
"The situation of the surging flood has
aggravated the condition of flood victims because
nearby camps are no longer available."

Call him the baby of Marvin Records and you are not far from the truth. He will gladly tell you he accepts the title. Amidst laughter, D’Prince, who is the youngest and most reserved of the Marvin Records crew, says he intends to remain that way for a long time to come.

Growing up, he was exposed to a lot of musical instruments around him; little wonder the singer – real name Charles Enebeli – developed a musical leaning at an early age.

“My dad was into music production and my mum was a chorister in her younger days. So it was only natural that I was exposed to different sounds and genres at such a tender age. My dad is a musical encyclopaedia. Just test him; there is nothing he doesn’t know about the industry. So we all grew up singing, dancing or playing instruments. Asap Rocky Turned Away At Canada's Border

Rising rapper A$AP Rocky was forced to postpone a sold-
out concert in Toronto on Tuesday after his entourage
was turned away by officials at the Canadian border.
The American hip-hop star was due to perform with
newcomers Danny Brown and Schoolboy Q at the Sound
Academy as part of his Long Live A$AP Tour, but the gig
had to be axed at late notice due to "immigration issues".
Breaking the bad news to his Twitter.com followers, A$ap
Rocky wrote, "Couldnt (sic) make it across the border I
apologize to the fans we're rescheduling a new date".
It was the group's second attempt in just three days to
cross the U.S./Canadian border - they were also denied
entry last Sunday, according to Brown.
After that failed attempt, he tweeted, "Canada is mean...
Looks like I will never be going to Canada".
The trio is expected to try their luck with border
authorities once again on Oct. 20, when they are
scheduled to play a show in Vancouver.

Chris Brown Is Back With Rihanna.

R&B star Chris Brown has split from his girlfriend
Karrueche Tran so he can continue building a friendship
with his ex Rihanna.
The Kiss Kiss hitmaker broke up with Rihanna three years
ago after he infamously left her battered and bruised
during an argument on the eve of the 2009 Grammy
Awards.
He was charged with assault, placed on probation, and
ordered to stay away from his ex, and he attempted to
move on from the troubled romance by dating model
Karrueche Tran.
However, Brown and the Umbrella singer have since
reignited their friendship and the restraining order was
lifted last year, prompting the former lovers to team up
twice in the studio.
They have both been in New York this week and have
been spotted hanging out together on three separate
occasions, sparking rumours of a possible romantic
reconciliation.
The strongest sign yet came on Wednesday night when
they were photographed in the VIP section at Jay-Z's
concert in Brooklyn, with Brown draping his arm around
the back of the Bajan beauty's seat.
Now it has emerged that Brown has called off his
relationship with Tran, citing Rihanna as the reason for
their break-up.
In a statement to HollywoodLife.com, he writes, "I have
decided to be single to focus on my career. I love
Karrueche very much but I don't want to see her hurt
over my friendship with Rihanna. I'd rather be single
allowing us to both be happy in our lives."
Tran hinted at a potential break-up on Wednesday night
with a cryptic Twitter.com post which read, "Bye baby".

In a move guaranteed to surprise absolutely no one,
reports have surfaced that new judges Nicki Minaj and
Mariah Carey are apparently feuding.
According to a supposedly leaked video of poor quality
and dubious origin, the freakazoid rapper and the
uberdiva got into some kind of an altercation during a
recent stop in North Carolina, with Minaj threatening to
"knock out" Carey and shouting, "I told them, I'm not f---
in' putting up with her f---in' highness over there." Still
happy with the new gig, Keith Urban?
It's not the first report of trouble. Supposedly, the pair
started battling almost as soon as auditions began in mid-
September. At that point, everybody denied everything,
with Minaj saying they were "getting along wonderfully"
and Carey asking "How can you feud in two days? I think
a feud takes a little longer."

knows? And what does it matter? Whatever the truth, a
good dustup is guaranteed to get people watching. And

Maria Carey Beefs Up Security.

Mariah Carey has beefed up her security team after her
fellow American Idol judge Nicki Minaj reportedly
threatened to "shoot" her following a furious on set bust-
up on Tuesday.
The two new judges were filming an audition in Charlotte,
North Carolina this week when they became embroiled in
a huge argument over a contestant.
In video footage posted online, an angry Minaj can be
seen shouting and swearing at the Hero hitmaker.
Reports suggest Minaj continued the rant off camera
and, in the heat of the argument, is said to have raged,
"If I had a gun I would shoot her (Carey)."
Idol's executive producer Nigel Lythgoe quickly blasted
the claims, branding them "absolute rubbish".

Drunk Man Passes Out, Gets Burned In Fire, Hit By Train.

Police in Kamloops say the 51-year-old man hit by a train
is the same person suspected of having started a grass
fire a short time earlier and is also a person of interest in
an assault case.
The sequence of events, which police called "bizarre,"
began when firefighters responded to a fire at a mobile
home park around 3 p.m. A witness reported seeing a
man flee on a bicycle soon after the fire started.
While cops were en route, a call came in from CP Rail
reporting a freight train had hit a pedestrian.
Police found a drunk man with serious burns to his body
and a deep gash to the head where he had been struck
by the train, and they soon linked the two cases, Staff
Sgt. Grant Learned said in a news release.
According to police, the man passed out while smoking
behind his home and woke up to find his clothes and the
surrounding grass on fire. He grabbed a bike and took
off.
The man, who has not been named, is recovering in
hospital. But there might be even more trouble coming
his way -- police believe the bike may be stolen, and that
the man may have been involved in an assault on a
transit bus driver on Sept. 27.
No charges have been laid in connection with any of the
cases.
Police also said they believe the cause of the fire was
accidental.
