Boardwalk Empire Recap – ‘Two Imposters’

War is coming to Atlantic City, and “Two Imposters” takes us to the brink. If you haven’t seen this episode yet, then look out for spoilers, because I’m about to give you the skinny…

Owen Slater’s corpse was a warning shot across the bow, and Gyp Rosetti’s forces follow quickly. Nucky and the ever loyal Eddie barely have time to get Mrs. Thompson and the children out of the hotel, and shuttle the “box of Owen” down a service elevator before the hammer comes down. Nucky and Eddie hide in the nursery and thanks to a cool head, quick reflexes, and good aim, Nucky makes short work of Rosetti’s three goons. The run-in has its consequences though…after jacking a car and taking off, Nucky realizes that Eddie has been shot and is fading fast. He tries dropping Eddie at the hospital, but Gyp has his bases covered, and two flunkies quickly beset Nucky and Eddie at the hospital, forcing Nucky to drive away again with Eddie slouching, pale and bloody, in the seat beside him.

Gyp is strutting, despite the fact that he hasn’t got Nucky “on a slab” yet. He peruses Nucky’s office, tries out the desk, rummages through his things. He even flips through Nucky’s copy of Ragged Dick, a gift from his mother he had saved since childhood. Ragged Dick, ironically, is

Discovery Channel Cleans ‘Dirty Jobs” Clock

Simply put, Dirty Jobs has come to an end on Discovery channel. Long time, charismatic host Mike Rowe, announced the cancellation via a recent blog post.

“Whenever Dirty Jobs goes off the air for a few months, people start to wonder if the show has been canceled. Rumors begin to swirl, and questions about the show’s future fill my inbox. Over the years it’s been my pleasure to assure anxious fans that Dirty Jobs is coming back for another season. And indeed, we always have. Alas, this year, I’m afraid I cannot dispel the rumors. A few weeks ago, I was officially informed that Dirty Jobs had entered into a new phase. One I like to call, “permanent hiatus.” Or in the more popular industry vernacular, canceled,” he wrote.

Dirty Jobs is the second long time reality show to be canceled by Discovery this month. The network confirmed last Friday this would also be the last season of American Chopper, a reality series about father-and-son motorcycle-builders that originally aired back in 2002.

Rowe seems to be in good spirits as he optimistically wrote about his future.

“Dirty Jobs is a very personal show, and it’s difficult for me to imagine a future that does not involve exploding toilets, venomous snakes, misadventures in animal husbandry, and feces from every species. Nevertheless, the future is here, good things are in the works. Not as dirty perhaps, but exciting nevertheless. I’m looking forward to the future, and feeling grateful for the past.”

Personally, i’m a little bummed Dirty Jobs was one of my favorite shows on television.

He may not be welcome in Guyana, but he's apparently
still more than welcome in Rihanna's bed!
The pop star has pretty much confirmed by this point
that she and her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, are back
together - despite no official announcement, the pair
have celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday by running
around Berlin together - and yesterday, she solidified
the speculation even more by posting a photo on
Twitter of him sprawled shirtless across a bed!
Oh, and did we mention he's also covered in
memorabilia from The Simpsons?!

Halle Berry Set To Get Permanent Restraining Order Against Gabriel Aubry!!!

Sadly, after everything that has gone down, we don't
blame her for not wanting to take anymore chances!
As we've reported, Halle Berry's Thanksgiving
celebrations turned ugly this year when her ex, Gabriel
Aubry, got into a fist fight with her current fiance,
Olivier Martinez, in front of their four-year-old child,
Nahla, which left both men in the ER with varying
degrees of injuries…and the male model facing
potential charges of criminal battery!
Aubry has since been slapped with an emergency order
of protection, which requires that he stay at least 100
yards away from Halle, Nahla, and Olivier, but since it's
only temporary and is expected to expire Tuesday, the
actress and her lawyers are reportedly planning on
going to court as soon as possible this upcoming week
to extend the restraining order for an indefinite period
of time!
According to insiders, Halle and her lawyers have
repeatedly argued for some time that her ex has an
uncontrollable temper, and in light of the latest events,
has proven that he can't keep his shiz together enough
to protect his own child from potential emotional
trauma!
Such a shame that this dispute has disintegrated to this
level!
But obviously, Gabriel has some issues to which he
certainly needs to attend if he's going to be a significant
part of his daughter's life, so here's hoping that some
good can still come from all of this, and everyone
involved can now start taking steps toward re-building
their fractured relationships so little Nahla does not
have to be exposed to this sort of nonsense any further!
Because ultimately, SHE is the one who loses out the
most from this!

Charlie Sheen Helped Lindsay Lohan Pay Off Her Bills From Uncle Sam

WOW!

We guess Charlie Sheen was feeling SUPER charitable this holiday season...and Lindsay Lohan is reaping all the benefits!

Despite the troubled actress having her fair share of drama on the set of Scary Movie 5 this past September, sources close to her have revealed that she and the former Two and a Half men star became close during production - close enough for LiLo to open up to him about the $233,904 she owes in unpaid taxes for 2009 and 2010!

Well, apparently, that sort of money means nothing to the MaSheen, because last week, he reportedlygenerous!

We're sure Lindsay is MORE than appreciative, too!

Now all of her Lifetime movie money doesn't have to go to paying the government back!

Of course, it will probably need to go to her upcoming legal bills, but still!

So nice to see a positive, thoughtful gesture from Charlie, who can obviously relate to her personal problems!

Kristen Stewart And Robert Pattinson Back Home After London Thanksgiving.

After seemingly endless promotional duties for the
release of Breaking Dawn - Part 2, Robert
Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are still together!
And now, they're back in the States!
The famous pair arrived at JFK airport Friday after
reportedly spending their Thanksgiving across the pond
in London with R-Patz's family, and as you can see
(above), they look put together but understandably jet-
lagged!
Then again, our KStew does look a little grumpy!
Perhaps having to face the family members of the man
you cheated on over the summer with your director
made this trip more than its share of uncomfortable!
But hey! They're still standing strong, so we have a
feeling that even if there were a little awkwardness, it's
all been resolved!
Here's hoping it can stay that way from here on out!

Nicki Minaj Blames Target And Walmart For Low Album Sales...

Uh-oh!
Is Her Minajesty being hand-fed some sour grapes by
her beloved Barbs?!
Apparently, Nicki's latest album, the re-release of Pink
Friday: Roman Reloaded called The Re-Up hasn't
exactly had the warm reception she had anticipated, as
it's suffered from low sales since it dropped on
November 19th!
But according to her, it's by no fault of her own!
During a recent interview, the Trinidadian rapper
revealed that many retailers, like Target and Walmart,
simply will NOT stock it!
She explained:
"It's hard to get the album because the stores
basically said that the last few re-releases they had
put out did not do well and they didn't want to take
a chance. So Target and Walmart [are] not selling
the album. And Target is actually my biggest
retailer. They've sold the most Nicki Minaj albums
ever; thank you Target, but I wish you could have
sold this one… it kind of sets you up to fail. At the
end of the day I'm happy that I was able to put the
music out. The real reason for me to put out The
Re-Up is because I wanted to have a bridge
between this time and the third album. I wanted
people to have music that I really stand by."
Well, hey!
We're glad to hear that at least she's proud of what she
accomplished, even though the rest seems to be out of
her control!
Such a shame, though!
There's some really good shiz on her latest, so we
sincerely hope that Target and Walmart wise up and
start stocking The Re-Up for the remainder of the
holiday season!

Paris Hilton Back In Studio

Could it FINALLY be happening?!

The world has LONG anticipated the release of Paris Hilton's mysterious second album, which was said to be coming sometime this year!

But after her divergence into some less-than-well-received DJing gigs and subsequent falling out with Afrojack, we feared the music she'd been working on would NEVER see the light of day...until her duet with Lil' Wayne, Last Night, leaked onto the internet!

And even though the completed song was re-dubbed with Havana Brown and given to Pitbull for Global Warming, it appears the heiress has beenTwitter that she was back in the recording studio, collaborating with DJ Poet!

He posted the picture of the pair (above) with the caption:
