AGUERO SHOPS FOR MARADONA

Aguero shops for Maradona
Manchester City's Sergio Aguero may be worth 12 million dollars, but the man still does his own shopping, especially to impress his father-in-law, football legend Diego Maradona.
El Pibe de Oro is set to spend the holidays in Manchester with his daughter Giannina, Sergio Aguero and his grandson.
Looks like they’re going to try to make Maradona eat his greens!

Donald Trump On Halle Berry!!!

We've all been waiting on the edge of our seats to hear
what Donald Trump has to say about Halle Berry and
Gabriel Aubry's baby drama and he's finally answered
our prayers!
Even though cops have stepped forward to say Gabriel
was responsible for throwing the first punch in the
November 22 brawl between Halle's fiance, Olivier
Martinez and her baby-daddy ex, Trump believes the
blame should fall on Halle Berry.
On November 28 he tweeted:
"Always drama with Halle B."
The entrepreneur, who can't seem to keep his thoughts
to himself, further advised Gabriel to man-up.
He also tweeted:
"Gabriel Aubry should learn how to fight — he
became a punching bag"
Little does Donald know, Gabriel didn't stand a chance
next to Olivier, who happens to come from a family of
boxers.
Whoever is at fault, we just hope these three can sort it
out soon for the sake of little Nahla!

Rita Ora Snags Rihanna's Fast & Furious Role!!!!

Ruh roh Rita Ora!
We hope the Queen of no f*ckery Rihanna doesn't give
a f*ck about Rita snapping up a Fast & Furious 6 role,
'cause rumor has it the part was initially offered to HER!
Apparently, RiRi was being considered for a position in
the flick, but the diamond encrusted singer just couldn't
work filming into her extremely busy schedule…
And when Rita auditioned for the part, the film execs
apparently LOVED her!
One insider reveals:
"Rihanna impressed movie bosses with her role in
'Battleship'. But schedules didn't work out and Rita
really shone during castings. They loved her look
and her attitude."
Ooo but this is just ANOTHER example of how Rita could
be seen as trying to steal RiRi's style!
Whispers are floating about that Rihanna is getting a
tad irritated by the British singer imitating her signature
looks, moves, and sound…
Ah well, we just can't wait to see Mz. Ora totally bring
her passionate fury to the Fast & Furious franchise!

Dakota Fanning Sinking Her Fangs Into Jesse Eisenberg?!

Watch out Jesse Eisenberg! Don't you know Dakota Fanning's just thirsting for your blood?!

Oh wait... we confused Twilight with real life again.

BUT, Dakota and The Social Network star were spotted Wednesday taking a lover-ly stroll through Soho (above)! Are these hot young thangs romantically entwined?!?!

Well... maybe!

But the more likely explanation is that the duo are simply taking a break during the filming of their new movie Night Moves.

Hey, amore does tend to blossom among costars, and we totally think Jesse and Dakota would make an adorable couple!

Christina Aguilera Is Hatin' On Some Of The Other Voice Contestants

Christina Aguilera
Sore loser?
Christina Aguilera's last contestant on the show Dez
Duron was voted off The Voice, but the diva is none
too happy about who is still left on the show.
And she points to some recent history to prove her
point!
Here's what she said:
"[My former act] Chris Mann, prime example.
Came in fourth last year. It's like, ultimately, who's
the real winner? Who's Javier [Colon]? Who's
Jermaine [Paul]? At this point, I think it's all about
Chris Mann, thank you!"
Totes.
Totes about Chris Mann - and thank YOU.
She also said:
"I lost [a talent show] myself earlier on in my
career. I've gone on to do much bigger and better
things - some people don't even know what Star
Search was! I'm sure Dez will say the same in his
own way one day."
Well, he definitely won't be anything like Christina - for a
variety of reasons. But the biggest one is because, no
one can do what Christina does.
NO ONE!!!

Joe Jackson Had A Stroke!

Oh no!

The Jackson family patriarch, Joe Jackson, has suffered a stroke!

A friend close to the Jackson's says the stroke happened Thursday morning, and he is currently being treated in a Las Vegas hospital.

Despite the health scare Joe is sad to be " in very good spirits."

The stroke has been described as "mild," so Michael Jackson's pop should be released from the hospital sometime Friday.

We wish you health and happiness Joe!

Gawd knows that family does not deserve another heart ache!

Think Dave will ask them about their latest dramz with The Wanted?!

Lindsay Lohan's Lawyer Says She's Innocent!

DUH!
If there is one thing we heaved learned in our time on
this planet it's this: Lindsay Lohan is ALWAYS innocent.
Even when she actually does it.
The innocent starlet who was arrested for assaulting a
psychic in NYC Thursday night, is facing THREE more
charges in El Lay.
Since all four of these lovely violations of the law are in
direct violation of Lilo's probation the gurl is in some
DEEEEEEP SH*T!
This means her lawyer, Mark Heller, is working over
time to clean up Linds' legal messes!
Mike spoke with reporters and is said that, despite
witnesses claiming to have watched her do cocaine, she
was totally sober during the whole ordeal.
Speaking about her sobriety, Heller says:
"I can tell you when I was with her this morning;
she was in great condition. She was certainly not
intoxicated, certainly not under the influence of
drugs. No alcohol involvement whatsoever on this
occasion."
THIS occasion, meaning when he met with her in the
morning.
So, was she drunk, high or cracked out the night
before?
The good lawyer says:
"It [her state of mind the night before] wasn't even
brought up. She was perfectly appropriate. And
the police made note of that."
However, he IS certain of his client's innocence. Mike
says he's sure Lindsay didn't do anything wrong, and
he'll prove it before her Jan. 7 arraignment!
He tells reporters:
"We are going to be working very earnestly to
establish that no charges should even be lodged.
[The police] have already made arrangements to
get the video from the…club, which hopefully will
reveal some exonerating information. After that,
they could just walk away from the case and
decline to even prosecute."
Good luck with that, Sir!
We have a feeling Mr. Heller's is not as optimistic as he
seems. That, OR working for Lindsay has caused his
mind to break.
Either way, do NOT envy his job!

Kelly Osbourne & Fergie Vogue It Up!

We wonder if they danced the night away like Greta Garbo and Monroe... Deitrich and DiMaggio?!

HA!

Larry Hagman's Death Viewed In Terms Of Profitability By Morbid Dallas Execs?!

Seriously, TNT?!
Days after iconic TV star Larry Hagman succumbed to
throat cancer, his network is already discussing how his
passing will affect their bottom line!!
Paying little thought to the actor's profoundly saddened
survivors, they are concerned instead with how Larry's
passing could boost Dallas' ratings when the show
returns!
A high-ranking network exec revealed:
"Sure, it sounds a bit morbid, but [Larry] spent
most of his life working in show business and would
probably have understood."
Yes, it does sound morbid.
We understand these suits are paid for their business
acumen, but there is a time and a place for talking shop
and this is neither!
Who knows how the dollars and cents will play out and,
at this juncture, who really cares?!
Ugh!! That statement is beyond morbidly tacky — it's
wrong!!
Our sincerest thoughts remain with Larry's friends and
family, not with people profiting from his passing.

James Mwangi is Forbes Africa Person of the Year

James Mwangi, the CEO of  Equity Bank, Kenya has been named the 2012 Forbes Africa Person of the Year by Forbes Magazine. Mwangi beat four other nominees to earn the honour during a ceremony held last night in Lagos.

Dr Mwangi was honoured for playing a central role in making Equity Bank the largest bank in East and Central Africa, with more than seven million accounts in Kenya alone. He has also played a crucial role in ensuring banking services, including loans, are available to low income people who previously have in the past been left out of banking services.
Here’s what the judges had to say about him:
“Mwangi is an example of what it means to make it and to overcome the enormous challenges facing the average person in Africa. His influence and contribution to society, in a difficult environment, is significant.”
The other nominees shortlisted for the award include Nigeria’s  Aliko Dangote – Africa’s richest man and Tony Elumelu – Founder and Chairman of Heirs Holding; Joyce Banda (President of Malawi) and Stephen Saad -  Co-founder of the Aspen Pharmacare.

'Wreck-It Ralph' Writer Tapped to Direct Disney's 'Frozen'

Jennifer Lee Frozen Director Headshot - P 2012
Jennifer Lee, one of the screenwriters behind Disney Animation’s Wreck-It Ralph, is making the jump to director.
Lee has been tapped to join Chris Buck in helming Frozen, the studio’s 53rd animated feature, due to hit screens Nov. 27, 2013.
The movie, which already is in production, features the voices of Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel and is set in a kingdom where eternal winter has set in.

According to the studio, "Anna, a fearless optimist, teams up with extreme mountain man Kristoff and his sidekick reindeer Sven on an epic journey to find Anna's sister Elsa, the Snow Queen, and put an end to her icy spell."
Peter Del Vecho (Winnie the Pooh, The Princess and the Frog) is producing. The movie will feature original songs by Broadway's Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez.

Lopez co-wrote The Book of Mormon and Avenue Q. His wife, Anderson-Lopez, is behind the play In Transit and wrote songs for 2011’s Winnie the Pooh as well as a stage version of Finding Nemo.
Buck is a 25-year animation vet who co-directed Disney’s 1999 film Tarzan and Sony Animation’s 2007 film Surf’s Up. Buck was skiing solo on Frozen and having a co-director on animated features is a very common practice. It is somewhat less common, however, for a co-director to come on while a project already is under way.
"Jenn has a real connection to the film and creates dynamic and relatable characters,” said Del Vecho in a statement. “Her sense of comedy, adventure and story structure paired with Chris Buck’s vast experience and incredible instincts create an ideal situation for this film.”

'Guardians of the Galaxy' Director James Gunn Apologizes for Controversial Jokes: 'I'm Sorry and Regret Making Them at All'

James Gunn Headshot - P 2012

"We're all in the same camp, and I want to do my best to make this world a better place for all of us," Gunn writes in a statement provided to GLAAD. "I'm learning all the time."

James Gunn, director of Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy, has broken his silence over several blog posts he'd written in 2011, currently the source of much Internet debate for their explicit language and depiction of women, gays and lesbians.

The statement, which comes following an outreach from the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, reads as follows:
"A couple of years ago I wrote a blog that was meant to be satirical and funny. In rereading it over the past day I don't think it's funny. The attempted humor in the blog does not represent my actual feelings. However, I can see where statements were poorly worded and offensive to many. I'm sorry and regret making them at all," Gunn writes.
"People who are familiar with me as evidenced by my Facebook page and other mediums know that I'm an outspoken proponent for the rights of the gay and lesbian community, women and anyone who feels disenfranchised, and it kills me that some other outsider like myself, despite his or her gender or sexuality, might feel hurt or attacked by something I said," he continues. "We're all in the same camp, and I want to do my best to make this world a better place for all of us. I'm learning all the time. I promise to be more careful with my words in the future. And I will do my best to be funnier as well. Much love to all. -- James Gunn."

Francesca Eastwood Headshot - P 2012

Jeff Zucker Tapped to Lead CNN

Jeff Zucker - H 2012

The former NBCUniversal chief, who replaces longtime exec Jim Walton, will be charged with lifting the cable news channel out of the ratings basement.

Jeff Zucker, the former NBC News wunderkind who climbed the ladder to the top job at NBCUniversal, will lead ratings-challenged CNN as its new president. The announcement came Thursday from Phil Kent, chairman and CEO of Turner Broadcasting, and caps several months of speculation. As president of CNN Worldwide, Zucker will oversee CNN/U.S., CNN International, CNN.com and sister network HLN. He'll begin in January, reporting to Kent and based in New York.
Zucker replaces Jim Walton, a 31-year veteran of CNN who announced in July that he would step down after years of declining ratings at CNN; the formerly top-rated cable news network hit a 21-year ratings nadir in the second quarter of this year.
Zucker is currently executive producer of Katie Couric’s daytime talker on ABC. Zucker’s intention was to help launch Couric in daytime, say sources close to the show, but he was unlikely to stay at the program for the two-year commitment it has received from ABC despite a hefty $20 million fee to have been split with Couric over the two years. He'll have to negotiate his way out of that deal without leaving too much money on the table, but he still will have an ownership stake in the show with Couric. Another producer likely will be brought in to run the day-to-day with current producers Kathy Samuels and Michael Bass, a former Today executive producer. But with Samuels and Bass in place and Zucker remaining through a transition process, there is no urgency to name a replacement.

In Zucker, CNN gets a leader with a much different temperament and relationship to the news business than the well-liked but hands-off Walton. Even when he was CEO of NBCUni, Zucker was known to keep his hands in the news side of NBC’s business, sending e-mails to Today producers with suggestions or comments on coverage. And since he was replaced as NBCUni's CEO by Steve Burke at the conclusion of the Comcast deal, he has been chafing to find a new role on the bigger media stage. With CNN, he gets his wish. The beleaguered network has been adrift between partisan channels Fox News and MSNBC, which boast appointment viewing with their stable of opinionated primetime hosts.
Meanwhile, CNN has stubbornly clung to a programming model that relies on big news events to bring eyeballs. But more recently, it has faltered even there. Fox News bested CNN on Election Night, after CNN easily won the night four years ago. And CNN stumbled during coverage of the Supreme Court’s decision on President Obama's health care legislation, erroneously reporting that the high court had struck down the law before correcting itself (Fox News also briefly misreported the court’s ruling).
CNN still is profitable -- to the tune of $600 million a year -- thanks to its dual revenue stream of ad revenue and carriage fees and enviable digital footprint. For the month of October, CNN.com pulled in 68 million unique users compared with 56 million at NBC News and 35 million at Fox News. But when Zucker was running NBC, he famously decried trading analog dollars for digital pennies. Of course, his stance there has evolved; in 2009, he noted, “we’re at digital dimes now.” But his experience and fealty for the digital business is one area where several veteran news executives see a blind spot. “He doesn’t care about it,” said one. “And it’s a huge part of CNN’s business.”

What is not in dispute however are Zucker’s news instincts (even if his taste in scripted programming was a point of contention during his tenure at NBC Entertainment). At 27, he was the youngest-ever executive producer of NBC's Today show and set the program on its 16-year morning news winning streak. And as CEO of NBCUni, he was the driving force in bringing Meredith Vieira to Today, a move that enabled the program to stay atop the morning news ratings after Couric departed in 2006.
It remains to be seen how Zucker will put his stamp on CNN’s primetime lineup. His most urgent problem could be the 8 p.m. hour, where Anderson Cooper 360 is suffering since being moved there from its longtime home at 10 p.m.
More recently, CNN also has branched into unscripted territory; it will bow shows fronted by Anthony Bourdain and Morgan Spurlock next year. In October, the network announced a film unit to acquire feature-length documentaries to air on CNN and its international channels. CNN Films already has deals in place with Andrew Rossi (Page One: Inside the New York Times) and Oscar-winning documentarian Alex Gibney (Taxi to the Dark Side, Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room).
Of course, like most executives with tenure in the industry, Zucker also has his share of baggage. His plan to save production costs at NBC by moving Jay Leno to primetime ended in the messy public ouster of Conan O’Brien at host of The Tonight Show

Box Office Preview: Brad Pitt No Match for 'Breaking Dawn - Part 2,' 'Skyfall'

Killing Them Softly Brad Pitt Gun - H 2012

Pitt's indie crime drama "Killing Them Softly" and horror sequel "The Collector" open Friday at the North American box office.

Andrew Dominik's Killing Them Softly, opening Friday, could mark Brad Pitt's lowest nationwide opening in more than a decade.
Box office observers expect the modestly budgeted independent film to gross in the $8 million to $10 million range. The Weinstein Co. bought U.S. distribution rights to the film from Inferno Entertainment, which financed the crime drama with Pitt's Plan B production company and Megan Ellison's Annapurna Pictures.

Holdovers The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2 and Skyfall are expected to lead the box office overall, with a crush of films duking it out for the remaining top spots, including Killing Them Softly, Lincoln, Life of Pi, Rise of the Guardians and Wreck-It Ralph.
The weekend after Thanksgiving is generally devoid of big studio releases, and this year is no exception.
After Killing Them Softly, the only other new release is horror pic The Collection, a sequel to the 2009 The Collector. Both were independently financed, with The Collection distributed in North America by LD Entertainment. The movie is expected to open in the $4 million range.

Killing Them Softly, based on the 1974 novel Cogan's Trade by George V. Higgins, stars Pitt as professional enforcer Jackie Cogan, who is charged with investigating a robbery at a mob-protected poker game. Budgeted at $15 million, the film also stars Ray Liotta, James Gandolfini and Sam Shepard.
The movie made its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May; its release was subsequently moved from September to November.
Pitt is a consistently strong box-office draw, and there's always a chance Killing Them Softly could overperform. Among his nationwide live-action releases, his last lowest opening was $11 million for Fight Club in 1999.
