What a cheeky lass! Well, we just hope girl is ready to handle the repercussions of ANOTHER self-admitted dysfunctional relationship…
But we suppose she does need some new material for her next album!

White Boy Takes Part In NYSC Scheme

Mohammed Jammal AKA ‘White Nigerian’ is a 25 year old graduate with both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Global Management from London Metropolitan Universityand Regents Business School London. He was born in the City of Jos, Plateau State where he completed his secondary school.

Jammal joined Nigerian entertainment industry whilst studying in London. His debut performance was as a guest comedian on the AY Live in London’s 02indigo show in 2010.

He’s also performed in different shows including AY Live (London, Abuja, Lagos, Asaba), Lord of the Ribs with Basket Mouth in Abuja, Nigeria @ 50 in Trafalgar Square, London, P-Square’s Album Launch in Lagos, Harp Rhythm Unplugged, Crack Ur Ribs and many more.

Jammal recently moved into the music industry collaborating with  artists JJC and Terry Tha Rapman and released popular club songs in 2011 rapping in both Hausa and Pidgin English single called “Taka Rawa” His latest effort is a single titled Dirty Wine, the single made it to the No. 1 spot on Wazobia FM and No 10. On MTV’s top 10 Afro beats songs.

‘White Nigerian’ is currently in the NYSC Orientation Camp in Nasarawa State Central Nigeria.  Jammal is arguably the first ever full “White” or Nigerian participate in the  National Youth Service Corp scheme, a programme established to expose young Nigerians to cultures and people they would not otherwise have contemplated knowing. NYSC came into being in Nigeria in the 70′s.

‘White Nigerian’ Jammal does not have dual citizenship. In his words ‘Nigeria is the only country I know. It is my homeland and with all its challenges it is a place that will make substantial progress if we all decide to commit ourselves to his betterment’

On Thursday, November 29, 2012, some Nigerian celebrities gathered at Bheerhugz Cafe, located at the Ikeja City Mall, Alausa in support of the HIV/AIDS celebrity photo campaign, themed ‘Get Naked’.

Guests were treated to performances from M-Trill, DIPP, Slim T, Sammy, Pelli, VON, Temisan and Blue Ice. They also got the opportunity to test and find out their HIV status.

The idea, put together by blogger Sheifunmi Yusuf is to stand up against HIV/AIDS and its stigma.

Burna Boy and Duncan Mighty to party with Kinabuti in Port Harcourt

Fast rising singer, Burna Boy and Duncan Mighty will be performing at the second anniversary of the Kinabuti fashion label on Sunday, December 9, 2012, at the Bundu Waterfront, Port Harcourt.
Organisers say the event is aimed at appreciating the people in the waterfront communities. Burna and Duncan lived in Port Harcourt for years, before making it big in the highly lucrative Lagos music scene.
A similar project, ‘In our Ghetto’ was carried out last year, training young women in the community on the art of modelling.

Abraham Lincoln heroically reunited a fractured nation, and now it appears that the leaders of the U.S. Senate are hoping he can do the same for a deeply divided chamber once renowned for its bipartisan civility.

On Thursday, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., who these days often seem barely on speaking terms, sent out a joint invitation to all their Senate colleagues and their spouses to attend a screening of Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19.
DreamWorks is the official host, and after the film, Spielberg, Daniel Day-Lewis, who portrays Lincoln, screenwriter Tony Kushner and historian Doris Kearns Goodwin -- on whose book the script is based -- will take questions from the lawmakers. (Hint: Make a deal; don’t go over that cliff.)

"Lincoln has captivated audiences across the nation and received outstanding reviews," Reid and McConnell wrote. "Based in part on [Goodwin's] widely acclaimed book, Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln, the film depicts the good which is attainable when public servants put the betterment of the country ahead of short-term political interests.
"We believe that viewing this film would provide all senators with a positive opportunity to gather and reflect during this holiday season."

Reid saw Lincoln in November at a special White House screening with President Barack Obama. He told a reporter from the Las Vegas Review-Journal during the weekend that he was so impressed with the film that he wanted to show it to the full Senate.

Gabby Douglas nearly threw in the towel!

Believe it or not, but Gabby Douglas, the first African-American gymnast in Olympic history to become the individual all-around champion, almost gave up on her dream. Around a year ago, worn down by training and disheartened by her prospects, the 16-year-old considered throwing in the towel to work as a cashier in a fast food franchise.

It’s a good thing she hung in there. Thanks to her Olympic title, Gabby Douglas has become a symbol of hope for the African-American community. She’s even been interviewed by Oprah Winfrey and is swamped with endorsement deals.

Johnny Depp Set To Star In Don Quixote

Terry Gilliam has been trying to make The Man Who Killed Don Quixote for twelve years now. His disastrous first attempt was chronicled in the great documentary Lost in La Mancha. Johnny Depp originally starred as a modern-day businessman who gets sent back in time to 17th century Spain, where he falls in with Don Quixote (the crazy dude who fights a windmill), who’s mistaken him for Sancho Panza (the sidekick who rides around on a donkey and is sort of like the Boo Boo to Don Quixote’s Yogi, always telling him that the various crazy things he’s doing are bad ideas, but always ignored). There was flooding, aircraft noise, and a star breaking his back, and so the production was shut down. Gilliam’s been doggedly trying to get things going again ever since, and Depp’s character has since been recast as Ewan MacGregor.
Depp, in the meantime, has moved forward with his own Don Quixote project. Depp and his production company Infinitum Nihil have struck a deal with Disney to make an adaptation of Miguel Cervantes’s classic novel. Steve Pink and Jeff Morris will write the script. Terry Gilliam will presumably cry himself to sleep for more than a few nights
