Toni Braxton Hospitalized
The R&B singer revealed the news via Twitter Friday, writing:
"Hey guys, I'm in the hospital for health issues related to Lupus & Blood clots, I will be home soon...Thanks for all the love&support! Xoxo."
After receiving an outpouring of support online, on Saturday Braxton shared the news that she would be released from the hospital.

Braxton was also hospitalized for health issues related to lupus in January, and made her lupus diagnosis public two years ago. Braxton also battles medical issues stemming from the narrowing of blood vessels in her heart.
She recently said on ABC's 20/20 the disease diminished her ability to perform and contributed to her filing for bankruptcy in 2010.
Braxton has won six Grammy Awards and sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. Her 1996 sophomore album, Secrets, included the hits "You're Makin' Me High" and "Un-Break My Heart." Braxton also starred in Braxton Family Values, a WEtv reality show about her family. Her other acting credits include the television show Kevin Hill and the telefilm Play'd: A Hip Hop Story.
LAPD Apologizes to Notorious B.I.G's Family forAutopsy Release
has issued an apology to the family
of The Notorious B.I.G., after it
made the late rapper's autopsy
public without informing his relatives
ahead of time.
Police said the records relating to the March 1997 slaying
of the rapper, whose real name was Christopher
George Latore Wallace, were released prematurely
Friday, "due to an administrative error," the Los Angeles
Times reports.
"Robbery-Homicide Division detectives had intended to
notify Mr. Wallace's family prior to releasing the report,"
the LAPD said in a statement.
"Our detectives personally spoke with the Wallace family
[Friday] night, and apologized for not notifying them prior
to the release" said Capt. Billy Hayes, who heads the
Robbery-Homicide Division. "Obviously this has been a
challenging case for us to solve. We hope that witnesses
or other people with information will come forward and
give us the clues we need to solve this case."
A lawyer for the Wallace family had criticized the way the
autopsy was released.
The 23-page document the LAPD unsealed Friday
revealed new information about the slaying of the
Brooklyn rapper. Police hoped it would generate new
leads for the unsolved drive-by shooting that occurred as
Wallace sat in an SUV on Wilshire Boulevard.
The autopsy revealed the gunshot that killed Wallace
entered his right hip, cut through his colon, liver, heart
and part of his lung, before coming to rest in the area of
his right shoulder. He was struck by an additional three
bullets, though the report revealed officials could not
determine the order in which the bullets hit him.
Doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center performed
emergency surgery on Wallace after the shooting, but to
no avail. He was 24 at the time of his death.

pop culture dominance, Psy, the South Korean rapper-
meme, saw several videos of anti-American
performances he gave at protests against the Iraq war in
2002 and 2004 surface on the web. Following outrage

billion views, the 34-year-old performer issued a
statement of apology; now, the White House has
confirmed that he will keep his slot at a special Christmas
concert scheduled to take place at the president's
residence on Sunday and be broadcast on December 21.
The lyrics of one song he performed in 2004 urged the
death of Americans who ordered torture for Iraqis. Psy
rapped the song alongside the heavy metal band N.EX.T.,
which originally wrote the lyrics.
That protest came in response to a South Korean
missionary being killed in Iraq, revenge for the country's
support of the American war there.
"As a proud South Korean who was educated in the
United States and lived there for a very significant part of
my life, I understand the sacrifices American servicemen
and women have made to protect freedom and
democracy in my country and around the world," he said
in his statement Friday. "The song I was featured in --
eight years ago -- was part of a deeply emotional
reaction to the war in Iraq and the killing of two Korean
schoolgirls that was part of the overall antiwar sentiment
shared by others around the world at that time. While
I'm grateful for the freedom to express one's self, I've
learned there are limits to what language is appropriate,
and I'm deeply sorry for how these lyrics could be
interpreted. I will forever be sorry for any pain I have
caused by those words."
Malaika Rescues 9ice From Ejection On London Bound Virgin Flight!

nearly suffered 'a public embarrassment'.
We gathered that he was 'ejected' from a london bound
Virgin Atlantic flight when seemed not to be too sure of
knowing the rule of the game in flying.
But the treatment was reversed by another musician-
Fuji artiste Sulaimon Alao, more popular with the stage
name Malaika.
A source divulged to www.nigeriafilms.com that, the
duo were adjudged late for the flight.
Their names were announced, and their luggages
offloaded when they were not seemed to be around.
"But some of the flight attendants recognised Malaika's
name- they quickly sent a vehicle to convey him to the
flight and his baggages were put back on board," a
source revealed.
"They didn't know 9ice was the Abolore Akande
mentioned along with his name so Malaika requested
same treatment for 9ice," another source disclosed.
Another vehicle was dispatched to pick him and his
luggages returned on board as well.
Sources divulged the duo made the flight to London-
where Malaika was on a musical tour.
It is not clear what 9ice's mission was in London.

because Kim didn't really take care of the cat].
Her stomach had filled with fluid and the doctor said
she had a rare stomach cancer and that there was
nothing we could do for her [The Kardashians don't
cure cancer, yet...]. Poor little Mercy died the very
next day. It broke not only my heart ["Please feel
bad for me."] that little Mercy died at only four
months old, but Sydney's too.
Mercy was a gentle and loving kitten and we are all
going to miss her so much [Even though she gave
her away]. Thanks to Sydney for making Mercy's
short life one filled with love ["and getting that
nasty thing away from me."]. RIP Mercy Xo
