I'm Tired Of Sex - Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff reveals that she and her husband Mike Comrie "find different times" to make love now that they're parents.

The 25-year-old actress and her husband of over two years Mike welcomed son Luca Cruz into the world in March.
Duff doesn't relate to sex the same way she used to before becoming a mother.
"It's definitely different. I'm so exhausted at the end of each day, so I'm like, 'Can this not happen at night when I'm exhausted?'" Hilary said.
"You find different times to do it."

Duff's entire life has transformed since Luca became part of the family.
She is in awe of her little tyke's big personality.
"[Luca's] into everything," She said.
"I'm running around the house just trying to keep up with him. He's so fast... He's trying to talk and he's a little aggressive."

Duff is unsure whether she'll have more children soon.
The couple adores Luca.
"Mike and I are literally so obsessed with Luca. He's perfect! We should just be one and done," Hilary said.
"But I think once your kid starts getting older you miss that baby phase and you go in for round two."

LaBeouf Stunned By New Girlfriend

Shia LaBeouf reportedly thinks his new girlfriend is a "female version of him".

The Hollywood actor is dating his Nymphomaniac co-star Mia Goth, following the end of his almost two-year relationship with Karolyn Pho.
LaBeouf and Goth bonded on set and he apparently now can't imagine life without her.
"Shia says that Mia is like a female version of him. He loves how she's so secure and open," a source told National Enquirer.

There have been rumours LaBeouf will have full sex in Lars von Trier's new movie Nymphomaniac, which is said to have been one of the reasons his romance with Pho faltered.
When she voiced concerns about the effect it would have on their relationship, Shia reportedly began to feel stifled and decided she was "fixated on marriage".
Things with 19-year-old Goth - who was with LaBeouf when he got into a fight in a London bar earlier this year - are said to be a lot easier.
"He got to know Mia on set and quickly became enamoured of her. They have similar interests, they love alternative music, thrift stores and she is edgy and funny, which Shia loves," a source previously said.

Channing Tatum To Be A Dad

The Sexiest Man Alive will soon be a sexy dad.

Actor Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum are expecting their first child in 2013, their reps confirm.
The news was first reported by People.com, which named Tatum the Sexiest Man Alive in November.
The couple, who recently co-starred in the film 10 Years, met on the 2006 dance film Step Up, and wed in 2009.
Besides a baby, the new year will be a busy year for the parents-to-be. Tatum has at least four movies in the works while Dewan-Tatum appears on this season of American Horror Story: Asylum and has a TV movie called She Made Them Do It premiering December 29 on Lifetime.

Teen Arrested Over Hoax Celebrity Calls

A minor was arrested on suspicion of placing hoax calls claiming gunshots were fired at the home of Justin Bieber and that people had been shot at actor Ashton Kutcher's house, police in Los Angeles said.
Police said the unnamed minor is suspected to be behind the hoaxes that resulted in dozens of emergency responders being dispatched to the homes of Kutcher and Bieber in October.
Neither the actor nor the singer were at home during the pranks. The false emergency calls are known as ''swatting'' because SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) officers are often sent to such purported crime scenes.
The Los Angeles Police Department would not release the name or gender of the minor, but said the suspect was arrested on December 10 and lived in the Southern California region.
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's office is reviewing whether to file charges.
In the Kutcher incident, dozens of emergency personnel were sent to the Hollywood home of the Two and a Half Men star after a call claiming that people were in his home with guns and explosives, and that several people had been shot.
First responders were also dispatched to Bieber's Los Angeles-area home after a false emergency call said gun shots had been fired on the property.
Singer and actress Miley Cyrus has also been targeted by a swatting prank, but police said the Cyrus case has not been linked to the Kutcher and Bieber incidents. 

Box Office Preview: 'Guilt Trip,' 'Monsters 3D' Usher in Glut of Holiday Films

The Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen comedy The Guilt Trip and the 3D rerelease of Monsters, Inc. open in theaters Wednesday, ushering in the most crowded holiday box office in memory.

 

 

A total of eight studio films unspool between Wednesday and Christmas Day in a high-stakes gamble by Hollywood. Yet it could be Peter Jackson's holdover The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey that continues to top the chart after opening to $84.6 million over the weekend.
The specialty box office also sees several high-profile openings, including Kathryn Bigelow's Zero Dark Thirty and Michael Haneke's Amour, both of which open Wednesday in New York and Los Angeles. Tsunami drama The Impossible and David Chase's Not Fade Away open in select markets Friday.

Generally the year-end holidays see five or six studio films compete for attention.
Guilt Trip, from Paramount and directed by Anne Fletcher, is only predicting a five-day opening in the $8 million to $10 million range. Normally, that would spell certain death for a studio comedy, but Christmas films usually enjoy the sort of multiples impossible at any time of year because of people being off of work and out of school.
It's not uncommon for a holiday title to earn six to eight times its opening (a multiple of four is usually considered great). Last year, We Bought a Zoo opened to $9.4 million but went on to cume $75.6 million, an 8.08 multiple.
And it's ideal for Christmas Day and New Year's Day to fall on a Tuesday, as they do this year, since it means many people will take New Year's week off as well. It's also ideal for Christmas Eve to fall on a Monday, since that's the quietest day of the week anyway.

Nigerian Idol: The Race to the Finals Begins!

And we're off! Nigerian Idol kicked off its first
episode of a brand new season of great music,
great fun and great moments, as season three of
the series got to a flying start. From gospel to
groovy, there was a host of talent on display and
Nigeria is in for another thrilling season. And, there
is a new judge on the scene—how does that
change the game?

After a brief montage of the high points of the
previous two seasons, season three of Nigerian Idol
welcomed us to the heart of the nation, Abuja,
where the brand new addition to the judging team,
Afro-beat legend and three-time Grammy nominee
Femi Kuti made his debut alongside singers Yinka
Davies and dancer Jeffery Daniel.

Hundreds showed up to audition and the
excitement was palpable as Idol hopefuls lined up
around the building for a chance to make it to the
next level. The very first audition by Colins
Ukaigwe, was a shaky introduction to the new
season, and Femi Kuti quickly set the tone for his
judging style by telling Ukaigwe, "You are going to
drive away all the music from this room if you
continue!"

A few more disappointing auditions followed, but
just as the judges reached their breaking point,
things began to look up. Oladokun Olajumoke, a
21-year-old impressed with her rendition of British
singer Adele's song, 'Someone like you', while
gospel talk show presenter Uchechi Okwuosa also
made it to the next round. And there was also good
news for return contestant Sylvester Kiskin, better
known as 'Sly1' he breezed through.

Soon yeses abounded, and many contestants were
getting positive reviews from all three judges. Two
contestants truly impressed the Femi, Yinka and
Jeffrey, flying past the additional audition rounds
and straight into the top 100 competition in Lagos,
courtesy of a golden ticket. One golden ticket
winner was Onoja Godwin (G-Circuit), a judges'
favourite from season two.
"And still, these loaded episodes are only icing on
the cake," explained Tiwa Medubi, the project
manager. "Nigerian Idol is set to bring you the best
of drama, excitement and soulful music. Dreams
are being born here and it is our pleasure that
viewers get to see the entire picture behind these
immensely talented people."
The show continues next weekend with more
drama and excitement as the audition train moves
to Port Harcourt.

Hosted by On-Air-Personality Ill Rymz, Yinka
Davies, Jeffrey Daniels and Femi Kuti are in the
judges seat this season of the highly rated reality
TV show. The Etisalat sponsored third season of
Nigerian Idol will air from December 16th 2012 and
run until April 14th 2013.

Another Air Crash Averted!!!

What could have been a dark Tuesday in Nigeria's
history after the ill-fated June 3, 2012 Dana air crash
was reportedly averted today. The Lagos-Owerri bound
flight of Aero Contractors' 5N-BLE plane got the about
130 on-board passengers recounting their near-death
experience in shock and fear after he landed this
afternoon in Lagos.

This is coming when the nation is still mourning the
death of governor Yakowa, General Azazi and some
others who died in a helicopter crash over the weekend
in Bayelsa State.

The Managing Partner at TruContactPR, Ken Egbas,
through his series of tweets related to his contact with
death while on board the flight with other 129 Nigerians
which included children, and was monitored by
Us, disclosed that it would have been a
different case if not for the mercy of God on them for
sparing their lives.

"Today, 130 of us Nigerians survived plane crash
aboard Aero Contractors plane 5N-BLE to
Owerri," Egbas posted on the popular micro-blogging
platform, Twitter.
Tweeting further, Egbas, a pastor, political activist and a
blogger explained more on how the incident happened.
"We took off for Owerri at 11am and landed back
in Lagos at 2pm. One engine packed up, [the]
other engine [was] stuttering.
"The trip was initially billed for 8am. Then it was
moved to 11am. The first strange thing was that
Aero Contractors bus drove us for 10 minutes to
where this Owerri bound plane was parked
amongst very disused and abandoned planes.

I had never seen such. [I] Possibly meant [the]
plane was faulty. Hence, the delay.
"[The] pilot did a yeoman's job though. But if
Aero Contractors knew the plane was faulty,
please, why board passengers? #troubledSkies.
[The] plane had many families who were traveling
as a group for #Christmas. So many little children
on board. Another group on the Lagos to Enugu
flight came with [the same] story about their trip
being aborted 39mins after take off on same
Aero Contractors.

"One of the Aero security ladies, Omolaran
Adenike, tried to wrest my phone from me for
taking pictures. The pilot said it was engine
failure. But obviously, the plane had issues before
we boarded because of where we went to board.
"We had a pretty rough landing. You could tell
the pilot was struggling to land safely. It turned
to a church service on the plane," he ended.
Efforts made by us to get the right
official of Aero Contractors to speak on this issue
was abortive as at the time of publishing this
story as the numbers known to belong to the
airline's representative was not reachable but a
staff of the airline known to one of our
correspondents declined to speak to us on the
issue.

Biola Adegoke - Da Nu Grotto Manager **ARRESTED & DETAINED**

Mr Biola Adegoke, the promoter of fun place, Da Nu
Grotto has been kicked out of the Abuja arm of his
enterprise. The move was made by the financial muscles
behind the expansion. Adegoke was. judged 'not
performing up to expectations' by the money men.

Findings by Societynowng revealed, the
embattled club administrator could not meet up with
investor's weekly and monthly targets.
Giving an insight into the deal turned sour, an insider
furnished Societynowng the way the arrangement was
structured. The investors provided the venue and the
finances and Adegoke came in as a manager, operating
with his trade name.

He was expected to remit certain
amount to his financial backers every week and if
couldn't meet up, come up with the shortfall at the end
of the month.

Documents were signed to this effect. In the less than
8months he ran the place, he couldn't meet up and the
situation became a police affair'
Sources claimed, seeing that Adegoke's debt could not
be resolved in a gentlemanly manner-the investors were
forced to involved the police. Insiders claimed the
multiplier effects of arrest, detention and release
resulted in the sack of Adegoke from the business.

Meanwhile, sources claimed issues he had with his Abuja
branch investors resulted in, inability to service another
debt owed mysterious money man and former partner,
Shina Peller.

Like Da Nu Grotto Abuja investors, the Shina dragged
the club boss to the police as well.
Further digs revealed, in need of a money spinner to
alleviate his financial problems, Adegoke was forced to
return back to his claim to fame, Da Nu Grotto, Lagos.
He made changes here and there at the Etim Inyang,
Victoria Island venue- and in the name of re packaging,
relaunched the business on Friday December 14 2012
and told friends and clients, he is back in town to 'ensure
that extra difference in services at the place'
According to a source 'whether the move will alleviate
his growing money problems remain to be seen.'

Ola's Rotimi "Our Husband has Gone Mad Again" Goes To Stage At London

t is a swell season for lovers of African drama in London as Ola Rotimi's political comedy, Our Husband has Gone Mad Again, is currently on stage.

In the play situated in the 1960s, Lejoka-Brown, a half-witted politician who could not maintain his household, wants to be a minister in the political sphere in Nigeria, a scenario that, many believe, is recurrent  even in the current situation.

Behind the production is Heavy Wind Media UK Ltd, operator of Bubbles FM, in collaboration with Goldsmith University of London. According to the Bubbles' Executive Director, Lookman Sanusi, the show is a celebration of African theatre and Rotimi, who died in 2000.

Sanusi, who is also a dramatist, says, "I felt elated when I approached Enitan Rotimi, one of the directors of Ola Rotimi Foundation, for the right to produce this play and he granted it. I chose this play because it is a classic comedy and it will stand out in the midst of pantos showing all around the city.  Also to give lovers of African theatre something to enjoy and relate to. Again, I feel there should be more African plays on stage and they should not be few and far between. "

He adds  that London is so lucky this year alone to have witnessed a surge in African or Nigerian plays – including Ade Solanke' s Pandora's Box,  Bola Agbaje's Belong and House of Corrections, as well as Janice Okoh's Egusi Soup. 

Showing from December 17 to 20 at George Wood Theatre, Goldsmith University, the play is featuring  talented actors such as Femi Ogunjobi, Segun Ogunfidodo, Moji Bamtefa, Anthony Ofoegbu, Bidemi Alaran, Tayo Elesin, Biola Dosunmu and Julie Hewlett , who plays the role of American wife, Liza.

Imo State Government Places Bounty On Sylvanus Nkiru’s Kidnappers

The Imo State Government have announced a substantial reward for anyone who can give information that will lead to the release of Nkiru Sylvanus.

The actress, who is also the Special Assistant on Public Affairs to the Imo State Governor is yet to be found amidst unconfirmed indication that her kidnappers are demanding a N100m ransom for her release.

She has been kidnapped since Sunday morning in Owerri.
