Bath Salts Mystery: Ex-Universal Pictures Co-Chair Breaks Silence on LAPD Beatdown

Brian Mulligan Bath Salts Split - H 2012
On a Sunday morning in May, a paranoid man walked up to the Glendale police headquarters and began asking a slew of questions. "I know this is gonna sound crazy, but I feel like there are people following me. I feel like there was a chopper -- do you hear a chopper?" the man asked, suspicion seeping through his voice. Informed by an officer that police in the L.A. suburb were not flying any helicopters, he began to waver. "So it's not yours. Do you hear one? I could be nuts."

So began an odd yet polite 11-minute conversation in which then-Deutsche Bank managing director Brian Mulligan, 53, discussed his snorting of bath salts, the addictive and illegal drug that causes feelings of euphoria but also violent delusions. He said that he'd taken the drug about 20 times and asked, "How long does this stuff stay in your f--ing system?" The officer who spoke with Mulligan had a stern warning: "You need to get on top of this before it gets on top of you."
Only a few days later, Mulligan had another run-in with officers -- and this time, the interaction wasn't so cordial. At about 1 a.m. on May 16, Los Angeles Police Department patrol officers discovered the married father of two trying to break into cars in a shabby residential neighborhood in the Highland Park area, according to an LAPD account. When they approached him, he snarled, bared his teeth and attempted to hit

Bieber recording with Ed Sheeran?

Justin Bieber's manager has sparked rumours the singer is recording with Ed Sheeran.
The Baby hitmaker is currently at work on his acoustic album.
Bieber hit the music studio on Tuesday night and at the same time his manager, Scooter Braun, tweeted about being in the studio with Sheeran, MTV News reports.

"Hashtag just saying," Scooter caption a photo of the English singer-songwriter.
Sheeran later retweeted the message. Scooter later logged back on to tease fans about the recording session.
"Not gonna lie. There is magic in the studio tonight. Truly honored to be here," he wrote.
Sheeran has previously written hits for One Direction and Taylor Swift.
The singer on Wednesday said he didn't see collaboration with the boyband or the country music singer in the future.

And he seemed to put any ideas for a duet on ice, unless it "made sense".
"I find that collaborations sometimes are overly forced and they're not supposed to work. You should only collaborate if a collaboration makes sense," he told American radio host Ryan Seacrest.
Bieber's acoustic album is set for US release on January 29.

Angelina Jolie to Direct WWII drama

Angelina Jolie is in advanced talks to direct a World War II drama.
The Hollywood star is set to step behind the camera for a second time to helm Unbroken for Universal Pictures and Walden Media. The movie is based on the true story of Louis Zamperini, an Olympian-turned-World War II prisoner of war, who survived on a raft for weeks following a plane crash before being captured.

The film will be an adaptation of Laura Hillenbrand's 2010 bestselling book Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience and Redemption, and Angelina has been moved by the tale.
"I read Laura Hillenbrand's brilliant book, and I was so moved by Louie Zamperini's heroic story, I immediately began to fight for the opportunity to make this film," Jolie said in a statement. "Louie is a true hero and a man of immense humanity, faith and courage. I am deeply honoured to have the chance to tell his inspiring story."
American distance runner Zamperini spent 47 days on a raft before being captured and imprisoned in a prisoner of war camp by the Japanese Navy.
Universal Pictures chairman Adam Fogelson and co-chairman Donna Langley, along with Walden Media CEO Michael Bostick, announced Angelina's intention to direct Unbroken. They are convinced she is the perfect person to work on the project.

Yvonne Nelson is not the only Ghanaian celebrity who has proudly mentioned the number of shoes she keeps, earlier this year, Delay also mentioned that, she has over 700 shoes…
How many pairs of shoes do you have as a woman? For the men, I know you guys keep only 2 or 3…
