I Will Have A Plastic Surgery - Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde

Before now, there were rumours that the delectable
Nollywood star actress, Omotola Jolade-Ekeinde
popularly called Omosexy, had gone under the knife.
Recently, when she was asked about it, she finally
admitted that she is considering going for surgery.

Hear what she said, "Seriously I am thinking about
it. I have four kids. That has taken its toll on my
body. I am not against plastic surgery as long as
you're not doing it for extremely vain reasons. If
you need it, you should do it. If I see any
irregularities in my body that I cannot control, I
will do it."

Segun Arinze Sets To Raise Fund For Ngozi Nwosu

Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) president, Fiberesima
Ibinabo has given her predecessor, Segun Arinze the
approval to seek means, along with others in Nollywood,
to raise fund for the medical treatment of one of them,
Ngozi Nwosu, who is suffering from kidney related
diseases and heart problem.

The former AGN president has already sent out an
appeal message to his colleagues in the movie industry
and the music industry as well to help save the veteran
screen icon who is in need of six million naira (N6m) to
get medical attention abroad in order to survive.
Segun sent out a this broadcast this morning on
blackberry, "I just spoke with Ngozi Nwosu our fine
Nollywood actress who you all know is down with
heart and kidney ailment. Now, she needs about
6million naira for the treatment of her heart and
kidney!

From the look of things, this loyal fan of the tiny voice
actress and I-go-sing-by-force singer, Cossy Orjiakor
thought it wise to bestow the controversial actress with
an award (at least that is what I think) since other

Chris Brown Coming To Lagos.

American singer, Chris Brown is set to hit Lagos this
Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Expo hall of Eko
Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos for a show
tagged Chris Brown Lagos Concert.

The American star will be supported at the show by
some Nigerian artistes like LOS, DRB, Burna Boy, Ms
Jaie, Mercy from Idols, Aje Butter, Tiwa Savage, Naeto C
and Seyi Shay. The event starts by 7pm.

I've Joy When I'm Around Children - Empress Njama

House of Empress owner, Nollywood actress, Empress
Njama has revealed her reasons for specially caring for
children. She made this know a couple of days ago when
she celebrated her birthday at Karu Children's Home.

"When growing, my mum said that when I was
younger I was always carrying children of my age,
I always try to lift them. So I think that is where I
got the love from. And I'm this kind of person
that has joy when I have children around me or
when I'm around children. It is something that
has been within ever since. It's not like I'm just
starting doing this, I have been doing it over the
years. I feel very relaxed blessed and free with
children."

She also said further,
"It has always been my tradition and I will keep
doing it. They are the best people you can
celebrate your birthday with. They bring so much
joy to you and they are all innocent children and
clean-hearted people who would genuinely share
your cake and have fun with you. It always has to
be the children."

One of the things the beautiful actress does for children
include giving scholarship and attending to their daily
needs on a regular basis.
She emphasized that every year, she chooses five
friends who help in the yearly sponsorship of these
children.

"Every year, I pick up five friends and I call them
volunteers. These friends will take care of a child
each for a year. I picked five in Lagos and I was
able to get three in Abuja. But it is for a year. If
they want to go further, fine but I pick them for a
year. That is just what we do to assist the child.
It is just like you assisting the child, most of us
enjoy doing it. Most of my friends during our
spare time come see the children," she concluded.

My Regrets As A Single Mother - Grace Amah

The Ebonyi State actress, Grace Amah, for over a
decade, has been as constant as a "northern star" in
Nollywood. Since she first appeared in the1999 Lancelot
Imasuen-directed flick, Chain, she has been dazzling
fans and remains very much in demand. Echoes of her
acting prowess from the hit TV drama series Superstory
still reverberates. After a brief break due to childbirth,
she is back to thrill her numerous fans. But the mother
of one has disclosed that her only regret is being a single
mother.
''I'm not struggling with anybody. I am Grace Amah;
what I can do, I can do, what they can do, they can do
as well. We've got different things we have to, what we
put on ground. My coming back into the industry by
God's grace will not be a problem, and I'm not going to
find it difficult, because I know I'm going to come back.
In fact, I have fully bounced back for good. And with
time, everyone would surely see that Grace is back. The
only issue is my baby who is already closing to two years
now but my loving mother can always take care of him
for me whenever I need to be out of town for shooting,''
the beautiful but diminutive actress said.

Tough Time For Nollywood Actress Funke Adesiyan As She Now Goes On Cab

Funke Adesiyan, the Yoruba actress is at the moment
not finding it easy with life any more.
When she was a toast of everybody in Nollywood, hardly
would her face not adorn, at least, six out of every 10
movies produced but today, she has totally lost out in
the industry.

A few years ago when she jumped into beauty business
by opening an upscale shop where she sells all kinds of
beauty products, life, however, was rosy but not
anymore as she has since turned to taking cabs, without
air-conditioner, whenever she steps out.
She was recently sighted inside a yellow painted cab
somewhere along Oregunwa area of Oregun, Lagos
fanning herself with a magazine. One now wonders what
happened to those exotic cars at her beck and call?

What could be wrong with all the men that used to
patronise her 'shop' often, it seems she is now devalue,
it's obvious on her look as she has become a shadow of
her old self.

Almost 48 hours to their much anticipated Christmas
show, two of EME stars; Banky W and Wizkid, got their
twitter accounts verified by the popular micro-blogging
website.

Their respective twitter handles now carry the blue seal
of authenticity. The duo now join the elite league of
Nigerian entertainers like 2Face, Genevieve Nnaji,
D'Banj, Don Jazzy, Omotola, Asa, Osaze and others, who
have their accounts verified by twitter.
Twitter verifies accounts of public figures on its platform
to distinguish their accounts from other parody accounts
used most times by fraudsters.

D’Banj And Don Jazzy open Nightclubs.

Finally D'Banj flung open the door of his much-vaunted upscale nightclub, one eleven, to pub crawlers in lagos last
Friday. As expected, the event was well attended by VIPs
in the entertainment industry.

Interestingly on the same day, the self-styled
Kokomaster's former business partner, Don Jazzy,
announced on Twitter that he would open his own
nightclub this weekend.
Already speculation about an emerging rivalry between
both erstwhile owners of the defunct Mo' Hits Records is
rife. Also, it is presumed that they are determined to
outshine each other in show business.
But D'Banj and Don Jazzy have said in separate
interviews with journalists that they are not sworn
enemies.

"It is solely business; there is nothing personal. They are
not competing with each other," an aide of Don Jazzy
told LIFE&BEAT.
One Eleven and Pop nightclubs are both situated in
Victoria Island, Lagos.
Meanwhile, D'Banj and other select artistes will perform
at the 2012 Koko Concert in Lagos on Dec. 27.
The concert will be hosted by popular British actor, Idris
Elba, and has an interesting line up of music acts like Big
Sean, Pusha T, Tinie Tempah, Naeto C, Ikechukwu and
others.

Denzel Washington Coming Nigeria

Hollywood actor Denzel Washington is expected to arrive in Nigeria Next Week to take part in the shooting of spider Basket, a new movie funded by Nigerian businessman,
Dennis Osadebe.
Osadebe himself arrived in Nigeria from his base in
Turkey last Friday in company with his Turkish partner,
Abdulkadir Erkahraman.
Osadebe's decision to invest in the entertainment
industry appears driven by his faith in the abundant
talents in the country. "Denzel is just one of many
Hollywood stars that I want to witness the talents in this
country and to impact significantly on Nollywood. Others
are coming. My secaond movie, By Fire by Force, is due
to be premiered this month," he says.
Osadebe's DCS Entertainment has signed up two
Nigerian artistes, Wandy Boy and V2K.

Actress Nkiru Sylvanus Family Paid N8 Million Ransom To Her Kidnappers Police Imo State Police commissioner, Mr Adisa Bolanta in a confirmation briefing on Friday said kidnapped actress Nkiru Sylvanus family members paid out the total of million naira ransom for her release

In a press briefing in Owerri Imo State yesterday, Bolanta said Nkiruk's family ignored police warnings never to negotiate or pay any ransom to her kidnappers.He further said Nkiru's family members bargained for her release without prior knowledge of the Imo State Police command.According to him, the total sum of N7 million had been returned to Nkiru's family members.

We gave them back the money, they ignored our warnings and continued secret negotiations with the kidnappers.“They even went behind us and paid N8 million to the kidnappers,” he said.

Having said all of the above, he reassured Imo State residents that the fleeing kidnappers would be caught.

Yes we've arrested some suspects in connection to this kidnap, and we'll catch all of them as soon as possible.
