Martin Lawrence To Star In New Comedy TV Show
Lionsgate TV describes the upcoming show as a buddyseries with close similarities to Odd Couple , the 1970sTV show which aired on ABC. It starred Tony Randall as Felix Unger and Jack Klugman as Oscar Madison, and was released by Paramount Television. Felix and Oscar were two divorced men. Felix was neat and tidy freak and Oscar was sloppy and casual. The two shared a Manhattan apartment together, and their differences obviously caused conflicts and laughs.
This show is set up to be a good series. Martin and Grammer are both stars in their own respected demographics, hopefully when the two collide it bringsout the best from the two
‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ Is Most Anticipated Film Of 2013
Fandango surveyed more than 2,000 movie-lovers lastweek, asking questions about upcoming films and stars. The results were compiled into several lists and then released on Tuesday in the 2013 Hot List.
Unsurprising to loyal Hunger Games fans, the sequel Catching Fire tops the chart on most anticipated films, even stumping The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug , which has a few fans disagreeing. One fan comments on the list saying, "I strongly disagree. I may be a bit prejudice but, I think "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" is going to hit number 1." Well, LHDAWSON, time will only tell.

Box Office Report: 'Zero Dark Thirty' Wins Friday With $9 Mil; 'Gangster Squad,' 'Haunted House' Tie
Tracking had suggested that Zero Dark Thirty -- which earned an Oscar nomination this week for best picture -- would end up in a close race with Warner Bros.' period mob pic Gangster Squad , but ina surprise twist Gangster Squad ended up tying for No. 2 Friday with A Haunted House. Both films posted an opening-day debut of $6.7 million.
Box office observers expect Gangster Squad to edge past Haunted House for the weekend, but say Gangster Squad is softer than expected. Each is projected to gross in the $17 million to $19 million range.
Directed by Ruben Fleischer , Gangster Squad centers on a special task force formed by the Los Angeles Police Department during the late 1940s to fight mobsters. Josh Brolin , Ryan Gosling , Sean Penn , Michael Pena and Emma Stone star.
Conversely, Haunted House is overperforming. Produced and financed by IM Global, the horror spoofstars Marlon Wayans . Open Road Films is distributing the movie, which received a B- CinemaScore.
Gangster Squad earned a B+ CinemaScore, while Zero Dark Thirty nabbed an A-.
Zero Dark Thirty -- chronicling the CIA's decade-long hunt for Osama bin Laden -- is easily on course to become Bigelow's top-grossing film to date, besting the $45 million earned domestically by Point Break . And the film earned five Academy Award nominations.
Receiving the top Academy Award nom greatly can improve a film's fortunes if the timing is right, and that's why Sony waited until now to unleash Zero Dark Thirty nationwide, even as some Washington lawmakers take the film to task for suggesting that torture played a key role in tracking down bin Laden.
On Friday, Sony Pictures Entertainment co-chairman Amy Pascal blasted a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences who declared he wouldn't vote for the film because it equates torture to a "legitimate weapon."
" Zero Dark Thirty does not advocate torture. To not include that part of history would have been irresponsible and inaccurate. We fully support Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal and stand behind this extraordinary movie. We are outraged that any responsible member of the Academy would use theirvoting status in AMPAS as a platform to advance their own political agenda," Pascal said in a statement.
Zero Dark Thirty , financed and produced by Megan Ellison 's Annapurna Pictures, was penned by Boal, who also teamed with Bigelow on the Oscar-winning The Hurt Locker.
Among other best picture contenders, the WeinsteinCo.'s Silver Linings Playbook enjoyed an impressive bump on Friday. The dramedy was up 36 percent over the previous Friday, grossing $1.5 million from roughly 800 theaters. The movie expands nationwide next weekend.
Don Jazzy Set To Sign Zeal Of Styl - Plus
Although it is still in works with no details officially let out to the public yet and with Don Jazzy well known forwanting to keep things on the low and dropping news, announcements and projects unexpectedly (ruining all PR plans and on going promotions including blog traffics for that moment or day), is giving a serious thought as to signing Zeal.
Zeal is a good singer which i think would be a great addition to the Mavin family, not just leaving Tiwa Savage and errrrr let's say Wande Coal to make vocally enhanced music, depicting vocal acrobatics and actual singing talents.
Is it just me or does Mavin Records seem to have that goal of being Nigeria's

According to her, she believes in giving fans value for their money. "If anything must be done,it must be done very well,"she said.
Sasha, who dropped some new songs before Christmas took time to talk about her foray into fashion. She said, she has been in fashion business since she started pursuing her career in music. Ï see myself as a creative director than a fashion designer."
Sasha P is Nigeria's Number one female MC whose consistency has distinguished her among her contemporaries.
Nollywood Actor, Dickson Iroegbu In Police Net
Dickson, we learnt, have been indebted to Comrade Eyengho in the sum of N400,000,00 since January, 2012.
According to Eyegho, "Dickson has been playing hide and seek game with me for over a year now since I loaned him this money to clear his house rent. I do not want to take the law into my hands hence, my decision to report the matter to the police for their intervention.
All I want now, is my money. I'm sure, he knows the implication of issuing dud cheque not once but twice."
Meanwhile, HVP's effort to reach Iroegbu proved abortive as his cell phone was switched off as at press time.
Majek Fashek Kidnapped
The CEO of the outfit, Hajia Oluremi Dangaji disclosed this ugly development to Showtime, during the week.
According to her, Majek who was due to drop his latest album this week, disappeared from his Gowon Estate apartment since last December without traces. However, after futile efforts to trace his whereabouts, the reggae legend resurfaced few days ago, looking haggard, weak and pale.
Narrating Majek's ordeal, Hajia who claimed that her company had spent over N35 million to get the reggae master back on his track, said "This meeting is meant to formally intimate you with my company's project with superstar, Majek Fashek whose latest album is finally ready for the market.
Unfortunately, just as we were getting ready for the release scheduled for this month, we got a shocker during the past holidays that he had been kidnapped and taken to an unknown destination by people suspected to be enemies ofprogress."
"While the nightmare lasted, Majek's former manager called to inform us that he was hospitalised in Lagos. But later, we found out thathe was whisked away by one of his friends, to Ghana, who wanted to force him to sign concert deals outside the shores of the country without the consent of his management company."
Haija said, while in Ghana, Majek's conscience did not allow him to do the bidding of his captors,as he decided to return to the country.
At the moment, she said, Majek has gone back tohis old lifestyle. "He has become a shadow of his old self, breaking bottles and behaving very abnormal. In fact, he has not been himself since he returned to the country. Right now, he is hospitalised. We are trying to stabilize his condition. That's why we deemed it fit to intimateyou about the ugly development," Haija narrated.
Haija, a widely-travelled entrepreneur and philanthropist who hails from Edo State has since resolved to resuscitate Majek's dwindling music career, as well as embarking on a musical tour of some European and American cities.
Tiwa Savage Explains How She Got Pepsi Deal
"Funny enough, I didn't charge a dime for the show which got me the Pepsi endorsement. Sometimes I get paid for playing and sometimes I don't. The show that got me the endorsement deal was one of such shows.
"After my performance, a guy just walked up to me andsaid he liked my performance. He said he would love to do stuff with me as well.
"Before I knew it, Pepsi ran a survey to find out who wasthe most popular female and male artistes and I came out tops. I landed the deal alongside Wizkid who also emerged as the most popular male act; it was like a dream."
My Breast Is My Favourite Asset - Toyin Aimakhu
I get advances from men a lot. I cannot count how many times they hit on me. Some of them walk up to me with lame pick up lines. There was a day I used a picture of me and Bimbo Akintola on my BlackBerry. She is my friend and a role model. We were at a movie location and I took a picture with her. I used it as my BlackBerry display picture and someone sent a message asking if that was Bimbo Akintola. I replied the person saying she isn't the one, that it was Iya Rainbow. There was another time someone came up to me and said he likes me. I said thank you and he said I should guess what. I asked and he said he really does not watch Yoruba movies. I told the person that I don't act Yoruba movies, that I dance for Fela. He was shocked and said but I act Yoruba movies. I replied the man saying that I thought he does not watch Yoruba movies. I am not a harsh or aggressive person; everybody knows that all I do is act in Yoruba movies. I am a very nice and friendly person and I know that without my fans I am nothing. I have been able to cope with men because right from my childhood, most of myfriends have been guys. I feel safe around them. I am a plain person; the thing with guys is that when you havean issue with them, they clear it immediately unlike women who keep talking about it all the time. When you are doing a great job, the opposite sex would definitely always come after you. I am used to it. Thank God, my man is an actor and a model, so he understands. Even when men don't look at me, I tell him that nobody is noticing me and he teases me that it is because I am not fine again. Then we laugh it off.
The part of my body I consider as my best asset
I love every part of my body but if I am to choose I would say probably my breasts. My smile and my lips are also good features of my body.
How I became an actress
I never wanted to become an actress. I wanted to be a physiotherapist. I love attending to people, taking care of them. I did my HND in Marketing; I have a Degree in Philosophy from Olabisi Onabanjo University. My late brother, Mutab Aimakhu, had a friend, and the friend had an uncle who happened to be Aina Kushoro. Bukky Wright wanted to shoot a student movie and they needed someone to help them in University of Ibadan. Kushoro called me and told me that he needed me to help an actress. I asked who the actress was and he said that it was Bukky Wright. I was excited because everybody was going to see me with her. When she came around I was staring at her, I was telling everybody that I was with my aunty. She wanted to park her car and I offered to help her though I looked small and skinny; she did not believe I could drive. Theyhad an audition and I was just watching. I liked her so I went to get her food and we sat together. I asked her why the people were not getting it right and she said that acting is not easy. I told her that there was nothingto it. She asked if I could act and I told her yes. We werejust playing. She told me to go on stage. The person that directed it was Tope Idowu. I went on stage, they said I should act some scenarios for them which I did and they said I did very well. Everybody present there gave me a resounding ovation but I didn't see it as anything. I was not interested in acting professionally. They started shooting and had some problems so they had to go to Ife. Bukky Wright forgot something in Ibadan and asked me to help her bring it to Ife. When I got there, she was upset and I asked her why she was down. She said that an actress they were expecting hadnot shown up. She asked if I could play the part but I was reluctant. I later played the part and was good at it.Back then, it was part of my fashion style to put a dot on the right side of my upper lip. The director of Jenifa, Muyideen Sasiliu, was the continuity guy on set. He approached me and said he needed me for something. He said he wanted to shoot a movie and he needed someone that would play Rachael Oniga's part as a young person. He asked if the dot on my upper lip was natural and I said it was. When finished Bukky Wright's film, she gave me money and I was surprised. Because of my background I was really shocked because I did not know someone could make money through talent. Then I came to Lagos. My journey to Lagos was like a joke; when I told my mother, she was very surprised and worried for me because I hadn't been to Lagos before. I was born and bred in Ibadan. When I got to Lagos, everybody was just complimenting me, saying I am beautiful. They kept asking if I could drive because back then not many people could drive. When I acted people commended me and when I was done, I got paid. I went to Bukky Wright and she liked me. I visited her from time to time. Then she became my boss. That was how I started acting.
My parents' reaction to my acting career
There is something about my family. Then when I just got in the industry I had problems with some people. They felt I was rude. It is not that I am rude. The way I was brought up, in my house they allow us to express ourselves freely. Even with my father, you have the right to express yourself. That was my upbringing. You can talk; you do not have to be scared of anybody. My parents would listen to you talk; they would not make you afraid of them by threatening you with punishment. They wanted us to be bold and this upbringing really worked for me. We do not lie in my house because we were trained in a Christian way. My parents would never choose what you are to do. They would let you do what you want so that even when you run into problems you would be able to stand on your own. My parents are old; initially my mother was scaredbut she went to some pastors and they prayed for me. My mother said the only thing she wants from me is that I should not forget where I come from and I should not do what I am not supposed to do. I promised her that I wouldn't and if I do, I will die. She said that I will not die but live to testify to the goodness of God in my life. I will never serve God and money. My dad is a simple man; he lets you do what you want to do. Initially they did not support it but with time they changed their minds. Ever since I got their full support Ihave seen changes in my life.
The stigma against actresses
People see actresses as being wayward but it happens with young girls everywhere. But because we are known faces people tend to check our every move. I feelwe are meant to be role models. I will not blame anybody; we are all from different backgrounds and have different mentality. Actresses don't fight over men . Once they know you are an actress, they are ready to tarnish your image. Actress don't fight over men. I do not have anything against people that date married men but I have never dated a married man andI would never do such. Because I am crazy in films people tend to have a wrong perception of me. I do not have tattoos, I do not use make-up except I am on set or I am going for an event. I have never dated a marriedman. My first boyfriend was Lekan, he is a young guy. I had another relationship with Niyi Solanke; then my ex-boyfriend, Kunle Soyombo who went to the press and told people I cheated on him. There is something about me; I pray a lot, I always want my fans to be proud of me. I love them and do not want to disappoint them. Kunle got married recently and I am with Niyi. To God be the glory, I am engaged. My husband proposed to me on a ferry. I love him and appreciate him. People see some actresses as wayward because of the way they place themselves. I am sure that a lot of people would not describe the likes of my boss, Bukky Wright, or Funke Akindele, Iyabo Ojo as wayward. The few bad eggs are the ones spoiling the names of the good ones. We have a lot of wonderful people in the industry. When you sit down and look at the people that are the bad eggs, they are not in the industry to act.
Strained relationship between English and Yoruba speaking artistes
I do not know about anybody degrading anyone because no one can do that to me. If you mock me I retaliate. You cannot degrade me because I am a graduate. A lot of people complain about it. I have a lot of friends among them and we talk regularly. I have been invited to act several English speaking movies. I was invited to act in Blackberry Babes, but I was not around. When I was called I was not around because I was shooting Femi Adebayo's movie and I explained to them. It is a personal thing. Sometimes when I see some people act as such, I would complain but I would later keep quiet because I do not want to be insulted. It is the way you package yourself, the way you talk to people but there is no way anybody can downgrade me because I do not downgrade people. I do not disrespect people so nobody can disrespect me. If you do not wantto talk with me, I would stay at home.
The money scandal I was involved in last year
My car was stolen from a friend of mine in September 2012. She wanted to drop someone with my car and it was stolen in the process. I am a public figure and from time to time, people give us gifts. I was shooting a movie and a friend walked up to me that a guy wanted to take us out because it was his birthday. I declined because I have a man and I cannot go out. The next day, Ibrahim, the man came and said he likes my movieand I thanked him. He said his father is an Islamic clericand I asked him to tell his dad to keep praying for us. He said that he heard my car was stolen and offered to help. I accepted his offer to help, people give us money as well. I would never receive a gift for sex. The Bible says my body is the temple of the lord. I would never, ever do such. It was a big issue that later involved my husband. If I had done such, I would have been in big trouble. How would I have told him? My husband would faint, he would have been so disappointed. I am a lady and not married yet, it is normal for men to make passes at me but he knows I am from a Christian home.He is a good Christian and I am from a Christian home. If he hears such, he is going to faint. Ibrahim gave me N750,000 cash. He actually wanted to buy me a car; I wish he actually bought me a car so when the issue came up I would have just given him his car back. The guy's father is a wonderful man. He spoke to me like a daughter and told me that the money was meant for someone else before his son took it. it was a gift, I did not steal it, I did not beg for it; but because he is a father and the way he spoke to me I listened. Ibrahim has an uncle, Agbana, who was also nice; Ibrahim too was nice, when he gave me the money, it was useful and I used it for something. I returned the money, but I still have about N200,000 to return.
About my previous relationship
The reason why I kept quiet all this while is because I am a lover girl. I fall in love; I love love. It is a sweet andwonderful experience. It is a beautiful thing. I have been waiting for this opportunity and I want my fans to sit down and think. I have never dated a married man, I am not a child. They can count the people I have dated and it is about four or five guys, including Niyi. Thank God I am engaged now. I fall in love and I do not know how to hide the person I am in love with. Once you ask me out and I say yes, I want to get married to you. It means I am in love with you; however most of these guys do not have the same intention. I have learnt that God's time is the best. I had been walking around like a fool; meanwhile God had packaged Mr. Niyi Johnson for me. If I had married someone else apart from Niyi Johnson I would not be a happy woman. Now I met my better half and I love him. I do not even know the girl my former boyfriend is married to. He took my car; the Honda is actually my car. He was a guy I was in love with. I know Kunle is a funny person but there is something about me, even when they tell me you are not a good person, I want to deal with you. A lot of people have the wrong impression about me. I am a professional; because I act on screen, I act well and want to make it real. When you meet me, you realize it is just on screen. This has made me to always give people the benefit of doubt. So when people tell me about a person, I try to find out who the person really is.I bought the car for about N3 million. He was my man and he gave me N1 million. I just had to let it go because I was shocked and he was someone I loved. I found out and I just kept quiet about it. There was a time Kunle was in South Africa. The guy he went to meet was shopping while Kunle was at home. The guy tried calling him but couldn't reach him so he called meinstead. When he called me, he asked if it was boy or girl because he wanted to buy baby things to send to me. I was surprised because I was not pregnant. I was speechless; I called Kunle and told him what his friend said, that he wanted to buy baby things. He said that I should not mind his friend, that he wanted to buy it for one of his aunties who had a baby boy. I am smart but I kept quiet and took my mind off it. We did not have a fight, he just came to me to say that he wanted to attend a meeting and he took my car, because it was the latest Honda. I said okay and that was all, he stopped picking my calls. I sent him a text message, telling him to keep the car. I serve a living God; the next thing I saw was that he granted interviews saying that I was cheating on him. I went on a day's fasting, and for 24 hours I was crying to God. I said that anything bad must not happen to anybody but let the people, my fans know the truth. And the truth came out. He had a wedding less than three months after we broke up. It was not even up to three months and the girl was about six months pregnant. We had spent Christmas and New Year together; he went to South Africa in November. I was the one that did the South African visa for him. He came back; my friend went to pick him up at the airport. We were together in the house, we had a New Year's party, a lot of people were at the party. That means the girl had been pregnant all along and he had been playing me. He got back from South Africa and did not buy me a single top. My friends were surprised and asked why he did not buy anything for me, but I told them that he did not buy anything for me because he said he was broke. Meanwhile, people said they saw someone at the airport who came to pick things for him. God has a way of doing things. I wish him well; he was a wonderful guy too. I wish him well in life.
Me and my man
When you ask me about Niyi I feel like flying. I love him,he is my joy, and my friends make jest of me a lot with him. If I want to eat I call him; if he wants to do anything he calls me. We talk all the time. Niyi is my junior colleague but three years older than I am. I saw him in a movie and I was impressed by his acting. As seniors in the industry, when we see upcoming acts we make our observations. There is a tradition in the Yoruba movie industry, even if you are a 50-year-old person and I am 20-years-old but I got to the industry before you, you give me my respect. That is Yoruba, culture. I am 29-years-old. By looking at him I knew he was older than me. He wanted to talk to me but I was not interested because he is my junior colleague. Fortunately, Funke Akindele called me for a job, Oro omo. On getting to the set, he played my boyfriend. I would not lie, I liked him. When I saw him on set he came to me and said he is playing my boyfriend, I did not sound excited about it. I kept my cool. I asked him to walk me to my car, he was talking to me and I know he liked me, he took pictures with me. We later became friends and on my birthday, we were the only ones in the sitting room, people were outside. He told me he wanted to use the toilet so I had to take him, as we were going; he just dragged me to himself and kissed me. I could not resist him. He confessed to me that he liked his movies.
I Did Not Sleep With Yvonne Nelson And Then Dump Her - Iyanya
It is all about giving the people what they want at the right time. That is what makes a person an artiste. It was hard for me because I had faithful fans and I still have them. I still have fans that tell me everyday that ifmy album comes out and I don't sing, they would not follow me anymore. It is really crazy; I just have to see how I can manage to satisfy both parties. That's the reason why I had to change the game. I had to step it up a little. The whole idea was to change everything about me. A big thanks to my team and my manager, Uby Franklin. He has really inspired me. There were times when I wanted to give up but Uby kept pushing me to go on. First, this working out that everybody is talking about, I used to do it when I was bored. I did notdo it because I thought it was going to be part of my transformation. I was just working out and keeping fit. Any time I'm bored, I work out. When I'm angry, I work out. I just put everything in work out and I thank God things turned out this way.
Why I have lots of semi nude pictures online
That is really 20 per cent of me because I do not even know how most of those pictures got there on the internet. These days, it is very bad because when I perform, the crowd would tell me to take off my shirt. I try not to show off but they say it is my selling point and I have to do it. They paid me so I have to do it. I think taking off my shirt is part of the payment they make to me.
My issue with Opa Williams
Opa Williams is like a father to me and till today I am still very sorry for everything that happened. I do not handle negotiations. My manager tells me what show we are doing. If they have paid, I go to do my thing. My manager told me about Opa's show and I agreed to do it because he is my boss. I told him that we should do itto pay our dues because these guys are our fathers. Unfortunately, we could not make the first show because we missed the flight. It is just one of those unfortunate situations. It is just one of those things that happen and you are sad because it keeps happening. We were in Port Harcourt. There was traffic everywhere and before we got to the venue, the show was over. Till today, I am sorry to Opa and all of my fansthat I did not make it. The next morning I was sleeping, he (Uby) called me and told me the police had picked him up. Immediately, I called Opa; I said boss, I am verysorry but this is what happened. I pleaded with him andtold him we could settle and he agreed. He cut the call; my manager came back and said the Commissioner of Police said we had to return Opa's money. We went to the bank and withdrew the money and paid him that same day. We still apologized to Opa and said to ourselves that we had to make it up to Opa. He has shows coming up this year. Any show he is doing in Lagos, we will just go there; we will not even tell him. We do not even need his money, at least let us just make it up to him. It is very painful. It is unfortunate that it is already in the press. We actually thought it was settled. All of a sudden people just started calling me and asking if my manager was arrested. They said the police were looking for me and I asked why. I did not kill anybody, I did not do anything. I did not steal anything. It is just one of those things that happen; unfortunately, it was just a coincidence. It isn't like we planned to mess Opa up. If we did we would not apologise to him. He gave us his word and said it is fine. The next thing we saw it in the press.
My songs are not meant to corrupt youths
I do not know how bad I have been but when I sang 'Your Waist,' it was not sexual. I was talking about a beat playing and all you have to do is move your waist. If you listen to the song, you will know I am talking about dance. We are Africans, what do African women use to dance if not their waists? If I was passing a wrong message I do not think that song would be a hit. If I do not sing about the female body I would still sell. My album is coming out and it is not all about the female body.
The story about Kukere
I never liked the song 'Kukere.' It took me three monthsto do my second verse. People were begging me to do it. I said that when we release it I would not put my name on the song so that people would not mock me. They still mocked me. We played it for some girls in my car and they ran out. They said it was trash. We did not tell them that I was the one who sang it. When they heard it, they said it was a crappy song. When my manager told them that it is Iyanya's song, they said we should stop the car which we did and they ran out because they were ashamed. But today, that song is big all over the world. It is big in Italy, Portugal; I have fans from all over the world.
Sustaining the momentum of Kukere
It is all about consistency. The first cut is always the deepest. R Kelly can never have a song that is going to be bigger that I believe I can fly because that was the first cut. I believe what makes you last, what makes youa legend is consistency. So, after that, you are still giving them something nice so they would be like, this guy knows what he is doing.
My early days
I was extremely calm and quiet. I hardly talked. Even now, I do not talk that much. The Iyanya that people see in videos and on stage messes with them a lot because they think that is how my life is. I jump a lot onstage, I remove my shirt, and they think I am crazy but in real life I am quiet. In my house I am always in my room. I come outside only when there is something serious. Uby has to come into my room to talk to me. I am always on the reserved side but when I get the microphone, I am a different person. Growing up I played a lot. My white uniform was always brownish from playing.
Why I wriggle my waist
I keep doing it because people like it.
About Yvonne Nelson and Tonto Dikeh
I am not doing anything with them. People might say my preference is for actresses but I do not know anything about that. Actresses, are they not human beings? I do not know anything about who the next actress I would date would be. If anybody I like comes my way I would probably date the person. If it is meant to happen, she may be an actress, musician, banker, normal girl, whoever. This is a mix up, it is because they are popular that is why everybody is mentioning it. Before the Kukere song came out, I was dating popular girls but nobody said anything about it.
Sleeping with them and dumping them
How do people know I slept with them? In my song where I said Yvonne Nelson, I have your medicine, what if I say I was just rhyming? It is the mind of people that is working that way. It is not me, not that I slept with them. Anything that everybody is thinking is what they are thinking; it is not me. When I said Yvonne Nelson, I have your medicine, it was just a rhyme; Nelson, medicine. I just rhymed. What if I say I was just makingmusic and rhyming? It is just people's mindset. I did not have sex with them and dump them. Who am I to do that? Am I Brad Pitt? How come everybody is saying I broke up with Yvonne Nelson when we never announced to them that we were dating, in the first place. How come tweets surfaced when we never said we were dating? Funny enough, none of us said that wewere dating, it is the break up that everybody knows. Have you ever heard that best friends break up? Best friends just go their way. We did not even say we are best friends in the first place, so I do not understand the whole break up story.
My forthcoming album
My fans should expect to get all of me. You would hear me sing reggae, R'n'B, pop, everything. It is an 18 trackalbum.
"My Father Was The First Man To Drive From Nigeria To Ghana
"My father was the first man to drive from Nigeria to Gold Coast (now known as Ghana) in 1929. I got the name 'Rolling Dollar ' in my school days in the early 1930s. I used to be in the school football team. Whenever we were about to play football, I would go to the pitch with some dimes (American) in my pocket.
My sister regularly gave them to me. It was her way of motivating me to face my studies.
"I always spent the money on food during break time. Every time my teammates saw me with the money, they would said to me 'Fatai, bring your dollar, let us roll it. Head or tail?' That was how I got the name and it has stuck since then," the seasoned musician said.
When conversation shifted to the source of his incredible energy at 85 years, he simply smiled and said, "I have only God to thank for this. I have no specialhealth programme or prescription that I follow. I don't take herbs or special drugs to give me energy. I am natural and that is why I can sit here and tell you it is God's grace. But I don't abuse food or drinks. I free my mind from worries. The things that I cannot change, I hand them over to God. He created me, He knows my beginning and ending, as well as my strength and weaknesses."
One thing gives this spritely artiste joy, though: the fact that providence had used well-meaning Nigerians to lift him from poverty in his old age.
"There is this prayer in Yoruba, which says, 'Kaale so miju owuro lo' (Let my old age be prosperous). In my years of need, I used to say that prayer. Now everythinghas come to pass. I suffered a lot, but God used AsiwajuBola Tinubu to elevate me and change my status. I am immensely indebted to this great man called Tinubu. God used him to turn my defeat to victory. Here I am today smiling. My name is everywhere again," he said, smiling broadly.
Interestingly, the old man confessed that he is hooked on sex.
"My weakness is sex. Music is my drug and sex is my therapy. Even at my age I cannot stop having sex. My youngest wife knows this. I am strong and very agile in that department and sex has never weighed me down. If anything, it helps me to release tension. Mind you, I am not recommending it for anybody because what is good for my system might not be healthy for you," he said.

It is the latest in a series of eccentric styles he has adopted including a blond Mohican in August but, according to the City website: "This one is extra special!"
Last week Balotelli was involved in an angry training ground bust-up with City manager Roberto Mancini, prompting speculation the player would move to another club during the January transfer window.

I Warned My Guitarist Against Drug Trafficking - King Sunny Ade
Speaking in an interview with Vanguard on the matter, the 'now born again' musician noted that he had always advised his band members against doing or getting themselves involved in drugs noting that he advises them to look up to him.
Dissociating himself from Fatoke's action and claim, KSA said "he is an ex-member of my group who was retired almost five years ago. I don't deal with anybody who doesn't believe in God."
While stating further, the Ondo State-born singer stressed, "I tried my best in advising all members of my group against getting involve in hard drugs."
He added, "I told them to see me as their leader and shun doing anything that is capable of tarnishing their image. I didn't pray for anything evil to happen to him but I know his conscience will be troubled now."

Jude Okoye Explains Why May-D Left Square Records.
He said: We sign in artistes as our way of giving back to the society, and by the time they become known, we let them be....Like Jmartins and Bracket. But MayD's own was different, we were like lets have this group thing, lets form this group alliance, lets have MayD on board.
So at the end of the day when we wanted to kinda officially sign him, then that was when the problem came up. He (MayD) wanted to have what Psquare had, which was not possible. It took Psquare like 8years to get what they had...the cars the houses, and within a year someone is looking for something like that. So I was like ok, you cant get it from here, maybethere is another option outside, go get it.
