John McCain Compares Iranian Leader To Monkey

Always one to speak — or Tweet — his mind, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) Monday made a joke comparing Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to a monkey, something one Republican congressman charged was "racist."

"So Ahmadinejad wants to be first Iranian in space – wasn't he just there last week?" McCain said in a tweet that also linked to a story about Iran launchinga monkey into space. Some didn't take so kindly to the not-so-diplomatic quip, prompting McCain, 76, to respond: "Re: Iran space tweet – lighten up folks, can't everyone take a joke?"

Seeing that, Michigan congressman Rep. Justin Amash, 32, shot back. "Maybe you should wisen up& not make racist jokes," Amash tweeted. It's not the first time McCain's made a joke about Iran that landed him in some hot water. During his run for president in 2007, McCain sang about bombing the country.

As if we didn't already know John McCain wasn't isht, he goes and says stuff like this. SMH.

Texas Man Arrested For Having Sex With A Horse

Texan Andrew Mendoza confessed he "messed" with his neighbour's horse, after he was stood up by his girlfriend.

The 29-year-old told cops: "I was at my house waiting for my girlfriend to call. I told myself that if she didn't call me I was going to to next door and mess with the neighbour's horse."

After describing in detail his sexual escapade, Mendoza stunned officers in Wharton County, Texas,by claiming he was trying to impregnate the animal.

He said: "I was trying to make the horse have a baby. I was thinking it would have a horse-man baby."

Mendoza later pleaded guilty to public lewdness and criminal trespass and was sentenced to four months in jail.

 'I don't believe just doing this means I can be forgiven for what I did, but the first thing I thought was that I don't want to quit AKB48,' she said in her recorded message.

The band's management have demoted the star to a trainee team of AKB48 as punishment 'for causing a nuisance to the fans' by having sex. And it wasn't even newsworthy sex.
She didn't bang half the Yomiuri Giants baseball team. Nor did she do the deed in some exotic locale in public view. She spent the night with her boyfriend in his apartment and was photographed leaving his place.
What's so terrible about a 20 year old woman having consensual sex? In Japan, pop singers are required to project an image of both overt sexuality and virginal innocence and cuteness, known as 'kawaii'.
The cardinal rule for the 90 young women in AKB48 is that boys are off limits. They can perform soft-porn scenes - such as a commercial where they pass candy from mouth to mouth while decked out as schoolgirls - but they must also remain virginal.

Sex is something they project to the world for other people's fantasy and pleasure, and not something they're entitled to enjoy for themselves. Presumably the point of their abstinence is to indulge male fans in the wet dream that the girls are saving themselves for them.
It's worth remembering that the obsession with the purity and virginity of young women isn't confined to Japan. When Spears dodged the question the reporter followed up with, 'Have there been any changes on that front?'.
And how did things turn out for Britney? Oh that's right, she shaved her head.
It may not have been an act of contrition the same as Minami Minegishi or have the same cultural meaning, but the world has done its best to heap shame and guilt onto Britney when we could no longer pretend she was simply a sexual fantasy, but a real, live flesh and blood woman.

When her sexuality couldn't be contained within the standard packaging - Lolita or, later, sex goddess - she was portrayed as a disgraced, Fallen Woman like Minami Minegishi has now become in Japan.
Of course, continuing with the standard script, there aren't any Fallen Men in these stories. Gervais, Fey To Join The Muppets

The Muppets are planning to dominate the big screen again with a 1960s-style comedy caper starring Ricky Gervais and Tina Fey, director James Bobin said.
The Muppets ... Again! will follow the Muppets cast - including Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy - as they take their show on a world tour only to be unwittingly ensnared in an international theft scheme perpetrated by villain Constantine, who looks identical to Kermit.

Gervais plays the sidekick to villain Constantine, while Fey takes on the role of prison guard Nadya.
Modern Family actor Ty Burrell will play an Interpol agent. The film will pay homage to the 1960s comedy sleuthing Pink Panther movies, starring British comedian Peter Sellers.
''It's a tip of the hat to the old-school crime capers of the '60s, but featuring a frog, a pig, a bear and a dog - no panthers, even pink ones - along with the usual Muppet-y mix of mayhem, music and laughs,'' Bobin said in a statement.

Bobin made his directorial feature film debut with 2011's The Muppets, starring Jason Segel and Amy Adams, which revived pop culture interest in the puppet characters first created by Jim Henson in the 1950s.
Gervais, creator of the international TV series The Office, Fey, creator of the NBC comedy 30 Rock and Burrell, star of ABC's Modern Family, have all won Emmy awards.
Bret Mckenzie who won an Oscar for his song Man or Muppet is working on the music for the new film.
Hollywood studio Walt Disney said The Muppets ... Again!, a follow-up to The Muppets, is set to be released in theatres on March 21, 2014.

The film will be shot on location in Los Angeles and London at the renowned Pinewood Studios, home to the James Bond films.

'Rambo' Against Assault Weapons

Sylvester Stallone says that despite his Rambo image and new shoot-em-up film Bullet to the Head, he's in favour of new gun control legislation in the United States.
Stallone supported the 1994 Brady bill that included a now-expired ban on assault weapons, and hopes that ban can be reinstated.

"I know people get (upset) and go, 'They're going to take away the assault weapon.' Who ... needs an assault weapon? Like really, unless you're carrying out an assault. ... You can't hunt with it. ... Who's going to attack your house, a (expletive) army?"
The 66-year-old actor, writer and director said he also hopes for an additional focus on mental health to prevent future mass shootings.

"It's unbelievably horrible, what's happened. I think the biggest problem, seriously, is not so much guns. It's that every one of these people that have done these things in the past 30 years are friggin' crazy. Really crazy! And that's where we've dropped the ball: mental health," he said. "That to me is our biggest problem in the future, is insanity coupled with isolation."

Stallone is now in production on his next project, pairing up with the former Raging Bull Robert De Niro for Grudge Match, about two ageing boxers.

"People think it's going to be some geezer brawl. Really? OK, they're in for a surprise. I'm telling you. I've been working on the fight, the choreography. He's taking it deadly serious. Muhammad Ali could be dead in days – Brother

Legendary boxer Muhammad Ali is so ill he could be dead within days, his brother has warned.

Rahman Ali said the former heavyweight champion cannot speak and no longer recognises him.

Rahman fears his 71-year-old brother – known as The Greatest – may not survive the summer.

He told The Sun, “He’s in a bad way. He’s very sick.

“It could be months, it could be days. I don’t know if he’ll last the summer. He’s in God’s hands.”

Ali was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 1984 but remained active for many years and made a moving appearance at the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Games where he lit the flame.

However, he was seen looking particularly thin and frail at the London 2012 Olympic opening ceremony where he was helped across the stage by wife Lonnie.

Rahman has accused his sister-in-law, who has been married to Ali for 26 years, of refusing to let the family visit the ailing champion.

Rahman, who was also a professional boxer, said he last saw his brother in July at the Sports for Peace Gala in London and is only allowed to speak to him over the phone.

The brothers, born Cassius and Rudolph Clay, grew up together in Louisville, Kentucky.

Ali’s most recent public health scare was December, 2011, when the champion was taken to hospital after falling unconscious.

Emergency services were called days after Ali made a frail appearance at the funeral of fellow boxing great Joe Frazier.

He was treated for dehydration after collapsing at his 6,000 sq ft estate in Arizona.

Rahman told The Sun from his flat in Louisville that before Ali’s health deteriorated, he said he was in no pain and was proud of his achievements.

Rahman, who has suffered recurrent strokes following his own boxing career, said he feels distraught at being cut from his brother’s life.

Father-of-nine Ali wants a Martin Luther King quote on his gravestone, according to Rahman.

The quote is: “I tried to love somebody; I did try to feed the hungry.

“I did try, in my life, to clothe those who were naked. I want you to say that I tried to love and serve humanity. The Greatest.”

Wife Lonnie refused to comment on the claims.

Thierry Mugler? Givenchy couture? That's what we suspected watching Beyonce 's kick-ass leather andlace corset and boots outfit (or was it just leather lace?) - at the Super Bowl halftime show. But no. It's in fact the work of New York designer Rubin Singer , who'll be showing his fall 2013 collection in New York next week.

Singer is no stranger to the world of fashion, but designing the costumes for a style icon like Beyonce to perform at one of the year's most widely viewed sporting events is a completely different situation for him.

Singer has worked with the singer, songwriter, and actress over the years, and presented story boards from his fall 2013 collection to Beyonce's stylists Raquel Smith and Ty Hunter right after Thanksgiving. The concept perfectly captured the diva's vision for her Super Bowl XLVII performance.

After receiving the assignment, Knowles and Singer set forth on an accelerated collaborative process in early December. Over the next two months there were no less than five fittings and well over 200 manhours with a team of 14 dedicated to creating the final look at the designer's New York City atelier. One full week leading up to the event in daily dress rehearsals at the New Orleans Superdome was also required to make sure everything was perfect for thebig night.

The stage costumes are based on Singer's upcomingfall 2013 collection entitled "Valkyrie's Dominion". In Norse mythology a Valkyrie is a female figure whodecides which soldiers die in battle and which live.

Other points of inspiration come from the striking images of late 70s/early 80s Helmut Newton and the play on masculine/feminine associated with 1930s film actress Marlene Dietrich .

The performance's opening look, set to the hit song "Crazy in Love," consisted of two pieces: a black leather cropped motorcycle jacket with exaggerated shoulders and an asymmetrical collar with dramatic "winged" cuffs were paired with a micro-mini asymmetrical wrap skirt in "liquid nylon" (made of nylon, metal, silk and plastic) which Singer exclusively created.
Later in the performance, after removing the motorcycle jacket, Knowles wore a black leather body suit reminiscent of warrior armor. Strips of engineered python, paneled iguana and trapunto/pick stitched leather were sewn together incontrast to the flounce skirt and insets of delicate black Chantilly lace in areas where skin can be seen. This item proved to be incredibly challenging as it not only needed to be dramatic but had to withstandthe rigorous dance moves required for the performance.

"This piece is truly couture in every way," said Singer when describing the process. "My seamstresses were assembling all of the leather andexotic skins individually by hand. All of the pieces were separate details that were all constructed on her body. We had to make the body suit have a tremendous range of motion and flexibility. Beyonce is such a fierce and intense performer we could not have the outfit constrict her in any way."

In addition to Beyonce's costumes, Singer created the costume for former Destiny's Child band mate Michelle Williams as well as the jackets for the show's 120 backup dancers.

Singer will present his fall/winter 2013 collection at his atelier during New York City's Fashion Week fromFebruary 12 - 13 by appointment only.

Wasiu Ayinde K1′s New Wife, Titi Masha Gives Birth To Baby Girl In Chicago

It's a baby girl for pregnant Titi Masha , the new wife of King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal popularly Kwam 1 or K1 by fans.

Last year, the popular Fuji musician was involved in a dirty lover snatching scandal when he impregnated and secretly married the niece of his former wife, a socialite identified as Titi Masha.

It was a tough call for the musician but he later came open to admit that she is now his third wife.

To cut the long story short, Titi Masha put to bed in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday the 2nd of February 2013. She gave birth to a bouncing baby girl .

The excited mother of one is said to be doing well withher baby girl.

Titi Masha is the third wife of Wasiu Ayinde.
The self-proclaimed Fuji leader has a wife named Wendy in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

Winners Chapel Church’s Youth Leader Arrested As 10-man Robbery Gang Leader In Kogi State

Nemesis has caught up with a youth leader of the Living Faith Church in Okene, Kogi State, who professed to be a born-again Christian, but in reality was the leader of a 10-man robbery gang. The suspect (name withheld), who was described as 'very popular' in the area, allegedly led his gang to break into the office ofthe pastor of the church in the night and carted away over N315,000 belonging to the church .

Ironically, he was one of the early callers to the church the next morning, and joined in raining curses on the perpetrators of the crime. Parading the suspects yesterday, at the police headquarters in Lokoja, the state Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Musa Katsina, described the arrested suspects as a sledgehammer robbery gang.

He said that the youth leader, " who led the robberyoperation was seen the following morning, raining curses on the robbers and even invokingHoly Ghost fire on them, and now, the Holy Ghost fire has caught up with him. "

He said that the gang made up of bricklayers and block moulders specialize in breaking into shops and private residences, carting away goods and money. The Commissioner stated that the suspects were armed with guns and other dangerous weapons duringtheir operations He said that they normally disguise ascasual labourers going around residences and shops insearch of potential victims.

The police boss said the mother of the gang leader is a chorister in the same church. Answering reporters' questions, the arrested youth leader confessed that he played the born-again youth leader in the day, and armed robber at night .

He confessed that he has led 27 robberies within Okene and Lokoja as well as Adavi local government areas. The Assistant Pastor of the church, Pastor Aloysius Momoh, who expressed surprise at the youth leader's involvement in the crime, said that the churchwent into seven-day prayer and fasting shortly after the church was robbed, and God warned those behind the dastardly act to repent between May and December, last year, or be disgraced One of the victims, Paul Ikunagus, said over N2 million cash was stolen from his shop while one of them said he lost N5.8 million to the robbers who invaded his shop last December.
