Beyonce Wears Jewelry Designed By Pediatric Cancer Patients

Lorraine Schwartz 's jewels have adorned A-listers for years, and now she's given us another reason to fallin love with her gorgeous pieces all over again. For her latest collection, she collaborated with some extra special little ones: the pediatric patients at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

In memory of her late mother, who lost her brave battle with lung cancer, Schwartz teamed up with Gabrielle's Angels to teach the young patients (ranging from 6 to 15 years old), how to make jewelry as a form of therapy. Each piece is inspired by the childrens' favorite celebrities, and it turns out their favorite stars are also fans of their work, too! As an awesome surprise, each star has worn the pieces that were crafted with them specifically in mind. Pictured above, Beyoncé wore flower earrings created by 12 year old Jozlyn, who designed the blue earrings with Blue Ivy in mind.

Schwartz told PEOPLE that Bey was touched by the sweet gesture:

"She's the biggest star in the world to her … and [Jozlyn] was beyond excited to find out she wore her jewelry."

Katy Perry and Taylor Swift have also all rocked the custom jewels with incredible heart. Pharrell Williams recently wore a bracelet engraved with the word "Hope" at the Grammy Awards.

Chief Keef To Get Baptized After Jail Release

Chief Keef is going to be re-born a new person–as soon as he gets out of jail. The young rapper will get baptized upon the completion of his stint in custody for parole violation.

Keef allegedly met with Chicago reverend Corey Brooks to discuss plans for a baptism.

Brooks leads the New Beginnings Church in the city's Woodlawn neighborhood, and came to the 17-year-old's defense saying that he's not "a bad kid," but misunderstood . "I think people forget he is 17 years old," Rev. Brooks said. "He is an entertainer, that is how he sees himself. But at the same time, he has a God-consciousness. He is not some terror who is wreaking havoc."

Since dropping his Internet hit "I Don't Like," Keef has found himself at the center of legal controversy . He's been blasted for glorifying violence, his gang affiliation , and has had a fair share of issues with other rappers, including one aspiring rhymer, Joseph"Lil JoJo" Coleman, who was murdered after arguing with Keef and his crew.

With an opportunity to put the bad press behind him, being in custody has given the young father time to think . "I got a message from him that he's had a wake-up call," said his manager, Rovan "Dro" Manuel.

"I think he's gonna come out a different person. I think he's gonna come out with some new music, a new attitude…he's gonna get out and do some shows, and hopefully go up the charts."
Keef is set for release March 14.

Prezzo Might Not Be Allowed To See Goldie Harvey's Corpse

As things stand now,Kenyan rapper, Prezzo may not be 'allowed' to see the corpse of his beloved friend, Goldie, if the threat made by the songstress' husband,Andrew Harvey is anything to reckon with.

During the week, Malaysian based Briton, Harvey who happens to be legally married to Goldie and also, an administrator on Goldie's official facebook page, warned Prezzo never to bother to attend Goldie's funeral rites. He accused the Kenyan rapper of causinga lot of pain to the family.

However, following the threat, Prezzo during the week returned to his country. Those in the know said, he made his flight booking last Monday.

Andrew claimed that he agreed with Goldie to keep their affair private but the mere fact that she had publicly moved on with Prezzo left much to be desired. Prezzo, Goldie and Channel O TV presenter, Denrele Edun were in the final stages of launching their reality show dubbed 'Tru Friendship' but all this has been dealt a blow.

4Sho 4Shizzy star had travelled to Nigeria to spend a late Valentine's night with Goldie but unfortunately, that was the very day she passed on. Prezzo was speechless until the following day when he penned down a poem as a tribute to his dear friend he met in the Big Brother Africa house.

Goldie's death brought Andrew Harvey to the limelightwith pictorial evidence of their 2005 Wedding which was followed with a warning to Prezzo to leave "him and Goldie's family to mourn in peace as he had caused us lot of pain."

At times, some scenes shot in the movie are irrelevant; they spend money on some unnecessary things which is affecting the budget of some movies".

Ifeanyi Udeze Denies Affair With Halima Abubakar

Soccer star, Ifeanyi Udeze was one-time an active member of Super Eagles before he sustained injuries that eventually ruined his international career. Before now, he was said to be having an affair with sultry actress, Halima Abubakar. Recently in an interview, the former PAOK Salonika of Greece captain disclosed that he has never dated the Nollywood thespian, Halima.

"That was a false story. I am a happily married man with three kids. One boy and two girls so I don't have anything to do with Halima Abubakar. We are just friends and there is no romantic or emotional attachment to it. Honestly, I don't have a love affair with Halima. And that I shower her with gifts and others stuffis a big lie.

How can I shower her with cash and gifts when there is nothing between us, is that not ridiculous? If I want to buy gifts, I will buy for my mother or my wife and our three kids. Nobody should believe such stories. They are allwhite lies against me," he said.

ANCOP Berates AGN For Playing Novelty Match 48hrs After Actor's Death

The death of one of Nollywood's actors, Lugard Onoyemu may be painful to many, but the Associationof Nollywood Core Producers (ANCOP) may feel more pained taking into considerations circumstances surrounding his death and the 'attitude' the Ibinabo Fiberesima-led AGN had towards the actor's death.

You will recall that late Lugard died on Thursday at the National Stadium, Lagos, in preparation for a novelty match played between AGN and the Sun newspaper.

As we confirmed, the novelty match went ahead as planned on Saturday.

In a statement made available to GISTBANK the president of ANCOP, Alex Eyengho, described AGN's action as "unbelievably insensitive, manifestly clueless and extremely uncaring."

Eyengho said Lugard Onoyemu, a former Secretary-General of the Lagos chapter of AGN, shouldn't have got the treatment he got from AGN.

Part of the statement reads, "the attitude of the leadership of AGN is condemnable by any right-thinking stakeholder in Nollywood, knowing the role the late Onoyemu played in adding value to the AGN brand."

Eyengho further said in the statement that ANCOP was still in shock that "the AGN leadership had theheartless courage to go on with the scheduled novelty football match as if the life of the deceased meant nothing to the guild.

"I have always said it that it is the measure of respect we accord ourselves in this industry that we should expect to get from outsiders. How on earth could Lugard Onoyemu die on the training pitch in preparation for a novelty match, and his colleagues went ahead with the same match, less that 48 hours after his death, as if nothing happened.

"As if the novelty match was more important to the leadership of AGN than the life of the late Onoyemu. A concerned and sensitive leadership would have postponed that match indefinitely or at least for two weeks or more in honour of the deceased. Going ahead with that match as scheduled showed that we don't value ourselves in this industry.

"I am extremely disappointed in Ms. Ibinabo Fiberesima and her team at the national level ofAGN and whoever is the current Lagos state chapter Chairman of the guild. It is not enough to observe a minute silence during the match. No, the match should have been postponed indefinitely.

"Or was there something at stake that made the match irreversible as scheduled? How do they want the family of the late Onoyemu to feel over the way their husband, father, brother and son was treated by a guild and industry he served meritoriously all these years?

"This is very sad. I know that the next thing now is to invite the industry to a 'Candle Light Night'for the deceased at Ojez in Lagos, raise some funds in the name of the deceased, make some speeches, make some noise in the mass media and the story ends there. For how long are we going to continue like this?"

Reacting to these allegations, Ibinabo , when contacted on phone, said that the novelty match was not organised by AGN as claimed by Eyengho.

She told GISTBANK that the Sun newspaper only invited AGN to play the novelty match against their team in celebration of the media giant's 10th year anniversary.

According to Ibinabo, Eyengho is just seeking unnecessary relevance. She said that Eyengho is leading an unknown group in Nollywood and is seeking publicity for himself and the group byattacking everyone in the movie industry at every opportunity.

Ibinabo asked where was Eyengho when Lugard was sick and needed help? She however said that Lugard's death was painful to her.

Police Set To Go After Denrele

The last good glimpse Nigerians had of Goldie was of her photos on the red carpet of the 55th Grammy Awards, where she appeared as a woman full of life. Her death four days later on Valentine's Day was one hell of a shock for her fans, friends and family. Her demise evoked a volcano of mixed feeling as many haters took to the social media to further hex the soul of the deceased. In the wake of the Valentine's Day tragedy, damning reports began to emerge: drugs, hedonism, a little-known marriage, and husband-snatching allegations.

Goldie's untimely death stirred a storm of controversies that cannot simply be wished away. The big question revolves around her marriage. Before her death, if you'd ask showbiz followers about Goldie's marital status, two out of three responses would be "single." The remaining would be "no idea." It hardly occurred to anyone outside her close circle that the Harvey surname she was bearing was not a stage but her marriage name. Indeed, the Skibobo singer created a cloud of deceit around her marital status. During press conferences, questions about her marital status were curtly cut off.

On Facebook, Goldie's marital status was inconclusive. "Single" but not searching and an occasional vague affirmation that she was "in a relationship," was all Goldie offered as explanation for her marital status.

Many did not know Goldie wedded let alone, married a white man. Now a certain Andrew Harvey, a Briton, has announced himself, by uploading photos of their wedding that proved beyond doubt the verity of their 2005 wedding. So Goldie was married?

Really?

At the BBA Stargame, Goldie was viewed through the lens of a single girl. Against this new background, you begin to wonder, what the hell was a 30-year-old woman with a seven-year-old marriage doing in the wild, whimsical house of the Big Brother Africa, where sex can happen at a short notice?

Then you begin to wonder, where was Mr. Andrew Harvey when Goldie was gallivanting with Prezzo? A married Goldie flirted and got cosy with Prezzo, going as far as kissing him. For a married woman, that was so un-African. Even outside the BBA, her love chess with Prezzo continued. There were strong indications that at the time of her death, the Nigerian pop diva and the Kenyan rapper were still love interests. One doesn't have to be a Sherlock Holmes to deduce that the marriage was not the made-in-heaven picture Mr. Harvey is now painting. Now Harvey is not making Goldie a saint as much as he is further casting aspersion on her image as a married wife.

Toxic reports in the wake of her shocking departure insinuated that Goldie's was into drugs. These allegation, debunked by close pals, are just mere conjectures. What is common knowledge was that her friendship with Denrele Edun, the eccentric Channel O presenter, who also happened to be her business partner and co-presenter of their impending reality show, was not ordinary.

Now talking about Denrele, the initial story was that Goldie died in Denrele's arms. The question is: where, in the house, or on the way to the hospital, because the hospital declared the singer dead on arrival. There had been different accounts about Goldie's last minutes. The stories, sketchy but riddled with inconsistencies. So who is going to give us a blow-by-blow account of the last minute, including the names of people who were there? One report said her brother was in the house with her. When Entertainment Express visited her apartment at No 30B Ologun Kufere Street Parkview Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos, the following day, the apartment was deserted save for a weeping househelp who went in, packed her two suitcases and fled from the house.

Then you ask again a whole lot of questions: What is the police doing about it? Where are her family members?

The autopsy report indicated that Goldie died of hypertension. But the public needs to know the back story, particularly, the details of the last few minutes before her death. What, where, when, how, and who were the eye-witnesses?

Questions, questions, questions. It is better to let the dead to rest in peace. And in this clime, we do not speak ill of the dead. But this has to be said about the late entertainer: Goldie lied to us. It is no crime for a celebrity to keep her marital life out of the public radar- Onyeka Onwenu did it successfully. A stern I-am-married-but-my-marriage-is-not-a-matter-for-discussion response from Goldie would have been enough.

Goldie misinformed us by her utterance, she misled usby her actions. She owed us an apology, even in death.

An insider, who spoke with us recently, said the familyof Goldie wants the Police to invite Denrele, for questioning, since he claimed that their hale and hearty daughter died in his arms. "This I can tell you isthe family's position's. They want Denrele to tell them and the world the circumstances that led to Goldie's death", disclosed this insider who does not want his name in print.

Angry Air India Pilot Turns To Rap

An Air India pilot who made a rap video to complain about poor pay, ageing female flight attendants and cancelled flights has found himself in hot water with his bosses.
The video, called Air India Rap, has become a viral hit since it was posted on You Tube last week clocking up 55,000 views to date.

The rap - which is laced with expletives - begins with the pilot hearing his flight has been cancelled before a hip hop backing track starts.

It starts with a disclaimer which reads: "Dear friends and fellow pilots, the following content is not meant to harm anyone's feelings for the company. I love Air India and am very thankful to ICPA for making every effort to get us out of the mess we are now in."

He goes on to canvas a number of issues with the airline including not being paid, working with older staff and the union not standing up for the pilots.

"It has been more than five months since I haven't got paid. Time n time again and again I have been betrayed."

Later, he discusses some of his older colleagues.

"People work here for a lifetime they never retire. See old faces everyday gets ma ass on fire.

"How do I fly with woman in sixties, they call them air hostesses we call them aunties."

Later, he finishes the rap on a more conciliatory note, saying: "I work with Air India as you know. I love ma company, there is nowhere else I go."

The pilot's bosses have been left unimpressed by the musical offering.
"He works for us, yes," G.P. Rao, a spokesman for the airline, told Agence France Presse.

"We are looking into the issue. The management will decide how to go about it," Rao said.

The Times of India quoted a senior Air India manager as branding the song "an immature act", and adding that the airline would examine the pilot's record"before taking a final view" on whether to discipline him.

State-run Air India is the country's fourth-largest airline and has been plagued by crushing debts.

The airline had also suffered from the impact of rising fuel prices and fierce competition, AFP said.

Last year pilots at the airline staged a two-month strike.
