The commercial city of Onitsha, Anambra State was thrown into heavy pandemonium on Saturday, when a billionaire couple, who just returned home from abroad, were consumed in an inferno that broke out in the commercial city.
The unfortunate incident occurred in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boniface Ndubuisi, a house that is located at number 2, Arinze Lane, off Okolo Street, American Quarters, Onitsha, Anambra State .
The couple who just returned from abroad were badly burnt, and were seen clung to each other in the bathroom of the building.
Information available to DailyPost says the building wasrazed before fire fighters arrived in the compound. The couple's valuables, worth billions of naira were reportedly lost to the inferno.
An eyewitness who could not fathom how and where the fire started in the one-storey building, confirmed that it started around 4am. He said the couple's bodies were found inside their bathroom, clinging unto each other.
It was reported that the late couple had six children; three in America, two in Abuja and one in Lagos.
The Divisional Police Officer, Onitsha Central Police Station, Mr Tope Fasugba has visited the scene with hismen. He said the incident is being investigated. He alsoconfirmed that the bodies have been taken to a morgue in Onitsha.
The cause of the fire outbreak could not be ascertained,but many blamed the incident on power surge from Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN).

Rev Rowland Jide Macaulay is a confirmed and ordained Pastor who founded the House Of Rainbow Church in 2006. He openly held Sunday services in a Lagos hotel hall decked out with rainbow flags until the public revolted against the church.
He then fled to the UK after death threats.

"For me I have always been gay and I never became gay.
I became aware of my same sex attraction whilst living in Nigeria at the age of seven.
Boys flirt with each other unknowing all the time and it was at this stage that I was more aware of my emotional, physical, mental and sexual attraction to boys.
I was 14 when I had my first sex with a guy, it was filled with curiousity, passion, embarassment and guilt as with with any heterosexual having sex for the first time.
By this age I had become a youth leader in the church and had spent time reading the bible including discovering chapters that "condemned" homosexuality.
Imagine the furore of my life? Now I have to be discrete,secretive and live a lie. When I look back at my life it never stopped my same sex attractions.
Fast forward thirty years, I am now fully confident that being gay is my natural being and I regretted ever trying to be straight.
I regretted that I did not get the education and appropriate spiritual development to be a gay man. I can understand that and that is why I am determined that the short life I may live in this world I trust God for the development of inclusive Christian education to enable the freedom of the mind, body, soul and spirit.
Recently, my father asked me to prove that homosexuality is genetics. I just looked at him and pointed to myself, "ME" you made me, you gave birth to a homosexual boy he was anxious to know more, so I asked him to prove to me that God is real, not that I don't know but if we were to play "doubting Thomas", lets lay all the cards out.
My homosexuality is real, I am gay and I did not become gay, just like I am black and I did not become black. This is a great way to move forward in life and letthe world know that they may hate us but God Adores Us.
House Of Rainbow Fellowship is an inclusive Christian community, that welcomes all people and does not discriminate against LGBTI people (of faith or no faith).
I am proud that the Holy Spirit has led me to start this group, (nearly five years). We are growing with passion and relevance and it is my hope that we would be able to advance the learning and inclusion of all people.

I thought that to be the oddest pairing EVER but, soon realized, it's what I've always professed..There is NO such thing as BLACK music or WHITE music only GOOD or BAD music..It's stupid cool to like things that are not like you, and that goes for outside of music.. If you're an African American you can have a jewish friend. Wait, does Lyor having some Israeli mixed with his jewish count? (Sure they are paranoid but, so are black people after they've smoked weed, haaaaa, and plus the JEW fro and the BLUEprint fro are the SAME thing.)

Seattle Woman Believes God Saved Her FromBurglar So She Doesn’t Call Police
The woman, whose name has not been released, told officers she was praying in her kitchen Feb. 1 when she felt someone tugging at her hair, according to a police report obtained by the station. At first she thought it was just her husband, but when she opened her eyes she saw a strange man standing in the room.
She says she shouted, "Lord, help me!" and the stranger fell down and hit his head on the refrigerator, then left the residence, taking only a $20 bill he had picked up off the table.
The woman did not report the incident, she said, because she felt God saved her from harm. Her husband ended up calling 911 when a strange car pulled into their driveway a week later, which concerned him because of what had happened the previous week.
While God may be getting credit for saving this women, he has also been accused of promoting some not-so-holy behavior in the past.
In November, God allegedly told Florida woman Melissa Miller to drive 100 mph in a 30 mph zone. Police say Miller also claims she repeatedly banged on her car horn because of "the Lord telling me to do it."
And in August, James Crittenden of Kentucky allegedly set a gas station toilet on fire, citing "religious reasons" for the act.
Crittenden was also once previously arrested after cops said they caught him huffing cans of Reddi-wip inside a store.
We're glad He took some time from his busy day to help this woman. Too bad he was too busy to save the thousands of children that died of hunger today. Guess this was more important.
British Woman Accuses Neighbor Of Training Squirrel To Tear Up Flowers And Destroy Garden
Webster, who has been dubbed a "neighbor from Hell," according to the Birmingham Mail, was found guilty last week of criminal damage and ordered by a judge to keep the peace for six months.
Prosecuting attorney Kaya Ball told Solihull Magistrates Court that the flowers were not "just an isolated incident." Since 2002, the West Midlands Police have received more than 40 complaints about Webster's behavior, a spokeswoman told the Birmingham Mail. Reported incidents have included allegations of Webster yelling and swearing at passers by with no provocation.
"She is very proud of her garden," one neighbor said, according to the Daily Mail, "and she got it into her head that someone had it in for her and was jealous of her flowers … she became convinced a resident had trained a squirrel to enter her garden after dark and tear up her flowers."
We have plenty of bad neighbors on our side of the pond. In September, a Rhode Island woman was accused of training her pet cockatoo to cuss at her neighbors, who just happened to be her ex-husband and his new girlfriend.
And in November, a Louisiana woman put up Christmas lights shaped like a middle finger, claiming she had an ongoing dispute with her neighbors, and the profane display was "the only means I have to express myself to these people."

Jonathan Dangles N3b Before Nollywood
Nigeria’s President, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GEJ, has announced the creation of a N3billion grant to boost the film industry in Nigeria.
President Jonathan stated this at a dinner held at the State House in Marina, Lagos, on Saturday night to mark 20 years of Nollywood after the release of the industry’s first movie on a VHS device in 1992, ‘Living In Bondage’.
The President said that a ‘Project Nollywood’ will be established for the purpose.
The money, which will be disbursed as grants, according to the President, will support the Nigerian movie industry in shooting good and quality films that will possibly match Nollywood with Hollywood in some years to come.
He further disclosed that the grant will be launched in April 2013.
The N3billion grant will be managed by both the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
In 2010, prior to President Jonathan’s emergence as elected President in 2011, at the 30th anniversary of Silverbird Group in Lagos, he announced a $200 million intervention fund for the entertainment industry.
Box Office Milestone: 'Hobbit' Hits $1 Billion in Global Ticket Sales
Propelled by China, the New Line and MGM epic crossed the milestone over the weekend, becoming only the 15th film in history to hit $1 billion in global ticket sales, not accounting for inflation. It's the second Jackson film after The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King ($1.12 billion).
The milestone was welcome news for New Line and parent company Warner Bros. after the soft domestic debut of Jack the Giant Slayer over the weekend.
Unexpected Journey has grossed $301.1 million domestically and just shy of $700 million internationally. The 3D tentpole, the first in a trilogy, has grossed roughly $37.3 million in its first 10 days of play in China, the movie's final major market.
"We could not be more proud to have reached reached this amazing benchmark. Together with our partners at MGM and New Line, everyone at Warner Bros. congratulates Peter Jackson and his entire cast and crew on the extraordinary success of this film," said Warners president of domestic distribution Dan Fellman.
Unexpected Journey's top foreign market is Germany ($90 million), followed by the U.K. ($84.3 million), France ($44.9 million), Australia ($44.3 million) and Russia ($43.8 million).
Added Warners president of international distribution Veronika Kwan Vandenberg: “From Berlin to Beijing, it is so gratifying to see how the release of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journsey has been such an event with audiences around the world. It’s an exciting bellwether as we move toward the release of the second film in the trilogy.”
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug hits theaters Dec. 13, followed by the release of The Hobbit: There and Back Again on Dec. 17, 2014.
Jay-Z More Gritty After Baby’s Birth
Jay-Z has become "more gritty" after the birth of baby Blue Ivy, according to his record producer friend The-Dream.The rapper and his wife Beyoncé Knowles became parents to the little girl in January 2012.
Speaking to RapFix, The-Dream dismissed suggestions that fatherhood had softened the rap star.
"Nah, I think he's gotten a little bit more gritty," he declared.
The singer-songwriter revealed he had been in the studio with Jay-Z doing "a little something," but refused to comment on whether the rapper is working on a 12th solo studio.
Apparently his collaborators require strict silence.
"It's so hard because on one hand, I'm really always anxious and excited about new music with everybody that I'm working with," he said.
"On the other hand, they're always A-List, high-profile, so nobody really wants them to know. So it's hard for me to actually explain what I'm working on, when it's coming."
Jay-Z's last big release was the collaborative album Watch the Throne with Kanye West back in 2011.
His last solo studio album was 2009 effort The Blueprint 3, which took the number one spot on the US album chart.
But according to The-Dream, Jay-Z's next musical effort will be even better.
"I think he's becoming more of a painting. It's just moving. It's just travelling through time now," he said.
"There's no way to be surprised again. If any one of us does anything great, it's hard to surprise you. You already have an expectation level that's so high.
"So he's definitely more skilled and better than he was, but are you really surprised?"
‘Jack the Giant Slayer’ Leads Weekend Box Office
While the numbers weren’t quite as high as executives had hoped, Jack the Giant Slayer took the number 1 spot during the films opening night.
Jack opened to $7.7 million from 3,525 locations yesterday. Based on how the weekend it going it seems the film’s total gross for the weekend will barely reach the $20 million mark. Also, opening to dismal numbers on Friday night includes the teen party flick 21 and Over and the sequel to the fright flick The Last Exorcism Part II.
21 and Over rated in second place bringing in an estimated $3.3 million for Friday night opening. It’s similar counterpart Project X opened around this same times last year and made $8.1 during it’s opening. This isn’t great news for the newbie directors and writers of the film Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. If the film continues the nightly average over the weekend it is estimated to bring in a gross of $10 million.
In third place this weekend, The Last Exorcism Part II, opened at the $3.25 million mark. To compare the first of the Last Exorcism series, The Last Exorcism, opened with $9.4 million. This isn’t looking good for a third in the installment.
Why Daniel Day Lewis Didn’t Deserve To Win Best Actor For ‘Lincoln’
This year, the category of best actor caught my attention and sent an alarm through my film geek nervous system. Daniel Day Lewis won for his portrayal of old honest Abe. However, the question arose to me was, “is he the best actor of the year?”
How does an actor win “Best Actor” when he didn’t have to dive into the chaos of the human psyche like what was required of Bradley Cooper or Denzel Washington? It’s not necessary to say who the better actor is. The discussion, when you have such great actors, should be about which role required the most. I can’t tell you how Abe really acted; and neither could you for that matter. None of us have seen him living. I can’t compare Daniel Day’s portrayal to the real thing. On the other hand, that’s what made Jamie Foxx portrayal of Ray Charles so special. We knew the real Ray and could easily compare his performance to the singing icon.
It’s hard to deny Day’s brilliance, but lets be honest, Lincoln was a romanticized sentimental piece of fluff, that told us nothing about the inner working of the man. The film was about the thirteenth amendment, not really about the man who helped ratify it.
In my humble opinion I thought Denzel should win. He didn’t have the supporting cast his fellow nominees did. Flight was designed for one character to carry.
If any of Washington’s fellow nominees were average in their films, it very well could still have been a good film. If Denzel was average in Flight the film would have been a let down. Nothing against the supporting actors in Flight, it’s just that the film wasn’t built to be an ensemble. The others were to a degree. I get it though. It’s Lincoln, it was an election year, Abe was a hero. Of course Daniel should win, right?
