We’re Not Nigerians - Serena And Venus Williams.

Serena and Venus Williams who arrived Nigeria few
days ago are still struggling to clear a conflict of origin
issue in relation to Nigeria.
In an interview on Wednesday Oct 31st, the American
tennis superstar stated categorically that they're not
Nigerians though they love Nigeria and her citizens.
Popularly called Williams sisters, they declared
they're purely Americans with no Nigerian root as
widely believed in some African countries today.
Serena Williams, who joined her elder sister, Venus
Williams to train some selected kids the rudiments of
tennis at the Ikoyi Club in Lagos Wednesday evening,
said their parents may be black with slight traces from
Africa, but she insisted that they are from the United
States of America, USA.
"We have heard from many people asking
whether we hail from the Badagry area of Lagos
in Nigeria. But we are using this opportunity to
clear the air once and for all. We are proud
Americans, we are not from Nigeria but we love
the people of this country no doubt, " Serena said.

Hurricane Sandy Heal Barack Obama And New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie's Relationship.

New Jersey governor Chris Christie has made his less-than-favorable opinion of Barack Obama pretty clear over the course of his presidency, but in light of Hurricane Sandy, the Republican has set aside his differences with the Democrat.

While visiting the Brigantine Beach Community Center and speaking to refugees of the storm, they both praised each other's response to the disaster.

When Obama told the crowd, I want to let you know that your governor is working overtime," Christie added,

"Some say that God sent down his windy wrath to warn us about homosexuality and whatever other ignorant agenda they want to push, but maybe the Almighty just wanted us to shut up and get along."

Hurricane Sandy Sinks Pirates Of The Caribbean Ship, Killing At Least One.

So many tragic tales coming from the Mid-Atlantic seaboard this week!!

Hurricane Sandy sunk the HMS Bounty off the coast of North Carolina on Monday, killing at least one and stranding fourteen, and leaving one treading water somewhere in the Ocean.

While the U.S. Coast Guard found everyone else, Captain Robin Walbridge has been missing for well over 24 hours!

Authorities are optimistic about finding him, however, as he's wearing the proper survival gear which includes a bright orange vest.

Our sincerest thoughts extend to everyone affected by this brutal and horrific storm.

Hopefully Captain Walbridge will be safely returned to his friends and family soon!

Bryan Singer To Direct New X-Men Sequel!

After X-3, we were begging Bryan Singer to come back for the next X-Men movie!

Who were all those characters? Where were the gay allegories?? Why did hot hunk of a man James Marsden die for no reason?!

But X-Men: First Class was actually pretty cool! The characters were identifiable, the allegories was back, and we had hottie James McAvoy to fill the hole in our, um, hearts.

So now it looks like Bryan wants back on the ride! He has officially confirmed he will be the director for X-Men: Days Of Future Past, but he'll still be working closely with Matthew Vaughn, the man who righted the ship in the First place.

Days Of Future Past is a story about time travel and a dark future world where the X-Men are being hunted to extinction by giant robots.

Kind of like The Terminator, only with mutants. And hotter men.

PSY Smokes A Cigarette Gangnam Illegal Style.

We know you're from South Korea and all, but surely you can't understand that big sign behind you?!

It says NO SMOKING and even has a convenient illustration to break through the language barrier.

The Gangnam Style singer didn't seem to notice (or care) though and was photographed puffing on a cigarette in a smoke-free zone outside a building in Toronto, Canada.
